I needed a comfortable retreat and "base camp" for hiking after a rough couple months, and the Ely Cabin and David, delivered in spades. Saw the most breath taking northern lights 2 nights in a row, and then the stars and milky way the next. I'll for sure returning soon. For the comfort, character and peace."

"Privacy, comfortable, and quiet are some descriptions of the property. Hot tub was operational and ready but unfortunately we did not get to use it. Washed some bedding and everything worked well. Rooms were clean. Fire pit was stocked with wood. Coffee pot, Keurig, dishwasher, additional refrigerator and freezer on site. "

"This house is beautiful and clean. The multi-level home well accommodated our family of 11. The location was perfect for access to Lake Vermillion. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. The beach area was great and the kids enjoyed the lily pad and swing set. We used the kayaks, canoe, hot tub and sauna. Moccasin Point was a close boat ramp to launch our boat and the dock at the property made our fishing days easy. By the way, we did have fishing success! The property manager was quick to respond to our questions. We couldn’t have found a better place for our family vacation. Also, if you need to rent a boat or pontoon, we can recommend Lake Vermillion Houseboats. Wonderful people to work with. Pizza at The Vermillion Club was great too! We will be back!"
