Great house! Needs some yard work done!

The property is in a great location and peaceful neighborhood. The cleanliness of the inside of the house was great! BUT, outside could use some work. There is a ping pong table in the garage, the kids enjoyed that, but there was all kinds of random paint cans and jars of nails and screws, you know , the kind of stuff you keep around your place for minor repairs and stuff, not the kind of stuff you expect to see at a vacation rental. Also the yard needed to be mowed and landscaping is very overgrown. It would definitely have better curb appeal with a good days worth of yard clean up. Also the side walk to the front door is made with pavers and is VERY unlevel! Overall we enjoyed our stay, inside the property was clean and in good repair and the location was great for what we were in town for. Close to the track for the truck show we were entered in, and close to the stockyards for doing our touristy stuff! And plenty of room to park two full size pickups with car hauler trailers. We had a great time!

Relaxing country setting

We had a wonderful stay. There was a problem with the garage door, and the host quickly resolved the issue without interrupting our trip. We really enjoyed the quiet country setting, and my wife really enjoyed how close we were to the Tanger outlet stores.

Cozy and quiet location

The location is aptly described as “country living at its best.” Close to eating and shopping in Roanoke, but nicely secluded from the close by subdivisions. The house layout was very comfortable for our family. Three separate families interacted easily. Especially enjoyed the large kitchen area. House itself is well maintained.

Nice Country Home

My family and I were displaced due to a flood in our house and needed a rental close to home where we could bring our dogs. This rental was perfect and the host, Jean, was very responsive.
