Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff were nice. This is sn older motel with remote check-in . You had to get up and walk to the diner for coffee and breakfast which we paid for. The microwave did not work, no coffee pot, and we had to get new cards for entry twice.
We had everything we needed and were comfortable. We were confused about the checkin but we just missed the sign saying the check in was in the diner.
It was quiet and we slept well.

The people were great and the room was very clean. Overall, our stay was great, my only feedbook would be to provide the guests with blankets on the bed. It was only sheets.
The photos on Expedia do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. The entrance into the hotel carpet was dirty and showed heavy foot traffic wear on the carpet. The door and walk in area was a little messy. In my room, the carpet was coming up around the corners where the bathroom meets the main room. The carpet has heavy foot stains overall. My bedsheets had a stain on them. Overall, I gave a low score because the photos they presented on Expedia does not reflect the actual condition of the property. The staff was friendly though.

Just my wife & I, traveling through Alpine, and needed a room for the night.
It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't the most high-class either.
Our room was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the TV worked... so all-in-all, not bad.
There is no coffee in the room, for the morning (in fact, none anywhere in the place), but we found a nice coffee shop a short drive away ("Vise Coffee").
Others have complained about the check-in process (which is done at the diner across the lot), however our check-in was very easy, and we ended up grabbing a bite-to-eat there too.
There are several other options for lodging in Alpine, but based upon cost, this one wasn't that bad, so I'd probably stay there again.

It was ok. Staff are great but property is old and our room had an odor. It was clean. Needs a bit of facelift.
The remote for the TV did not work. I got in late each night, so it was not worth calling the desk about it. My drinks froze in the mini fridge, but I couldn't find a control to change the temp. I left a wakeup call for 6:30 AM both nights. The second morning the call didn't come until 7:02 AM. The mirror in the bathroom was broken and glued back together. That just makes the place look cheap! The people at the Diner who checked me in/out were very nice and friendly, but I would expect nothing less from my fellow Texans!
The room had a terrible smell. It’s outdated by far and has the look of being clean and neat however the smell was terrible. Plus there was no cu*k chair. They was a chair but how am I supposed to sit and observe in a regular dining room chair?!?!
easy in easy out , dated but perfect for pets, you want high class go somewhere else, you want remodeled , good stuff that works with no hub ub , this is it

Room needs upgrades. Old looking paint and carpet! Pets should not be allowed as they were barking after 10:00 pm making it very hard to sleep.
