Enjoy a dream vacation in one of our romantic apartments, in a dreamy and sophisticated atmosphere! Our apartments at Villa Barra Resort are located in a renovated, historic building, in the old Florida style. Find relaxation in the heated pool or in the tropical garden!

In the living room / bedroom there is a separate sitting area, a particularly large window gives a view of the front garden and the pretty neighborhood. The moveable TV bench enables flat screen TV and music enjoyment from the bed or the sitting area. And because of the spaciousness, the Miami Suite is also suitable for a small family with a baby or toddler. Of course, there is a cot, high chair, baby bed linen and towels. An additional bed for a third person is also available.
The kitchen also impresses with its generosity. In addition to a spacious table, with bench and wicker chairs, the newly furnished and well-equipped kitchen invites you with a very nice kitchen.

We only renovated the Miami Suite for you in May 2018!

Beautiful Spot Close to town

Wonderful stay! Second time staying here and highly recommend. Close walk to downtown restaurants and bars. Short drive to FMB, Venice, Naples and Punta Gorda Fisherman's Village. The pool is an added bonus.

We had a good stay. The property is an older home, but clean and nicely decorated. Location is great and easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The only con we had was a grease smell in the kitchen area. We sprayed some Febreze and it took care of the smell. Not really a big deal. Overall we had a great stay.

sehr abgewohntes Appartement mit großem Reinigungsbedarf

wir haben das Appartement Miami im OG gebucht. Die Möbel im Appartement waren ziemlich abgenutzt und beschädigt bzw. defekt wie Türen, Jalousienen und Tisch. In allen Räumen waren die meisten Möbel mit Staub bedeckt, in den Ecken Spinnennetze samt Beute. Das Badezimmer ist ohne Fenster und Lüftungsanlage. Alle Handtücher klamm und dementsprechend haben sie auch gerochen. In der Dusche und auf dem Toilettenpapierhalter Haare. Das Treppenhaus riecht muffig. Der Pool Bereich war nicht wie angekündigt durch ein Code gesichert. Dadurch konnten alle beliebige Personen den Pool mitbenutzen. Einige der Sonnenliegen aus Kunststoff waren defekt/ durchgebrochen. Nach dem wir die Mängel gemeldet haben, wurde uns eine nachträgliche Reinigung in unserem Beisein angeboten. Diese haben wir abgelehnt, weil wir uns im Urlaub nicht nach dem Reinigungspersonal richten wollten! In dem Appartement befindet sich kein Safe für die Wertsachen. Kundenzufriedenheit wird klein geschrieben. Trotz vorzeitiger Abreise keine Entschuldigung oder Preisnachlass - auch nicht auf Nachfrage! Wir können leider dieses Appartement nicht weiter empfehlen.

Miami Suite - Welcome to our piece of paradiese

..unser erster Floridaurlaub, raus aus dem Flughafen, ab in den Mietwagen und Kurs auf die Villa Barra. Eine schöne ruhige Seitenstraße mit hübschen Häusern erwartet uns, die Villa Barra sieht genau wie auf den Fotos aus, ein historisches Haus im typischen Baustil, renoviert ohne seine Geschichte zu zerstören. Die Miama Suite im ersten Stock bietet uns eine große Küche mit allem was man braucht, alles ist sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Schlafzimmer ist ebenfalls geräumig, eine großes Doppelbett und ein Beistellbett für unseren Junior lässt uns prima schlafen. Die Räume sind mit den typischen Fensterklimaanlagen gut gekühlt und wir haben aus dem Schlafzimmer eine schöne Aussicht und abends einen tollen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Nur eine Straße weiter zeigt sich ein ganz anderes faszinierendes Bild von Fort Myers und man weiß, warum sie Stadt der Palmen heißt. Auch zu Fuß kann man hier einige schöne Plätze erreichen, auch einen gut bestückten Supermarkt und eine Art Kiosk. Als Stützpunkt haben wir von hier viele wunderbare Ziele angefahren ( Seaworld, Disney Land, Fort Myers Beach, Everglades , Bootstour uvm. ) Abends konnten wir uns dann in den Garten setzten, uns noch in den Whirlpool legen, den Tag einfach ausklingen lassen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, Florida hat uns einfach infiziert ! Die Villa Barra wird dabei wieder für 2-3 Wochen unser Zuhause sein. Vielen Dank an Martina und Marco für den tollen Urlaub und natürlich an Steffi für eine super saubere Wohnung. Bis nächstes Mal ! Olaf & Melanie & Tom

Villa Barra- Miami Suite

Wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut, von der Buchung, dem Aufenthalt, bis hin zur Rücküberweisung der Kaution. Alles sehr professionell und freundlich! Die Miami Suite hält das, was sie auf den Bildern versprochen hat. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet- wichtig für Selbstversorger. Der nächste Publix Supermarkt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, dort gibt es ab 07:00 Uhr frische Backwaren. Die Villa Barra liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngiet.Trotz einer guten Belegung der anderen Wohnungen war es ausgesprochen ruhig und erholsam. Die Villa Barra war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für unsere Aktivitäten. Freitags werden die Mülltonnen geleert. :-) Ist aber auszuhalten. Wirklich laut waren die Klimaanlagen . Die werden aber nur an sehr heißen Tagen gebraucht, da das Haus landestypisch aus Holz gebaut wurde.

sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermietern, Organisation hat bestens geklappt, Wegbeschreibung, Wohnungsübergabe/Abnahme etc. Miami Suite liegt im 1.OG zur Strasse, kann morgens lauter sein, durch Müllabfuhr, Verkehr, etc. nettes appartement, Lage gut zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Fort Myers downtown. Küche etwas dunkel, Dusche: Wasser könnte heißer sein, keine Aufhängung für den Duschkopf. Insegesamt aber ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
