What a beautiful spot!! We will definitely be back, the staff were very pleasant, food was great, views were unbelievable! Dolphins swimming out front, seen a shark swim by as well!! If you are into shelling it is a great spot!!

This resort was as pictured. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working upon arrival and someone was in our room fixing it within minutes. The pools were nice, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I booked this hotel last minute for my kiddo and I and I’m so glad I did! It was the perfect family resort! I loved that the pool was right next to the ocean. Was great for the kiddo to be able to go from pool to beach and back again. They even had a movie night by the pool for the kiddos. Food was great and the room was clean! I would visit again!

Our first night sleep was interrupted by a broken fire protection pipe setting off the building alarm at 2AM. We stood outside for 1.5hrs. Luckily our room wasn’t one of the rooms that had water damage. We weren’t compensated for our inconvenience. The building is still under repair for some of the amenities. A lot of the surrounding area has yet to recover. We understood this before going down but wanted to support the area. The room we stayed in was one of the nicer ones. During our week stay, we noticed 2 of the 3 bathroom exhaust fans either barely worked or didn’t work at all. Water down there can smell a little sulfury so not having working exhaust fans is less than ideal. The garbage disposal didn’t work. Lamps were glued together. Between this and the fire protection pipe break, it appears they are struggling to keep up with the general upkeep while they're focused on bringing back the bigger pool features. Staffing is very friendly but it feels they aren’t getting good communication and support from the resort. Pink Shell has come up with several new money making programs of late that the staff seemed under informed on. New free refill cups and ice cream stands fell a little short. They also recently changed the tipping process for breakfast which likely hurts the servers. We enjoyed ourselves, but with other premium options on the beach, Pink Shell needs to step it up or its great reputation of the past won’t be able to save it from the competition.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Each employee seem to truly enjoy working there. Our king bedroom suite was immaculate and beautiful, it could not have been better. The beach was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

The staff are all so courteous and friendly ! They can’t do enough for you! Everything you need is here at this resort. It’s a great place for families ! The front desk checks in daily to see if you need anything ! Also kept us up to date with renovations

One single elevator and it didn’t work half the time. Had to use stairs most of the time and when we did use stairs it came out to a dirty area with a horrendous smelling dumpster. One of the valet boys was a douche. I know they are working on fixing things after hurricane issue but if your gonna book it up and charge that kind of money you better be ready.

Honestly, it was above my expectations considering possible consequences after last year hurricane. We liked cleanliness, staff, breakfast, adult pool (it wasn't adult only),hot tub. I guess the fact that gulf waters are super shallow there is out of hotel hands. Elevators probably need some tuning...........Thank you.

Excellent place to stay for a beach vacation. Easy access to the beach and the towel machines are perfect. Included breakfast had plenty of options and changed each day. Rooms were spacious and loved being able to open the screened in patio doors and let the air in without worrying about bugs

This is a beautiful hotel. They are still finishing up after the recent hurricane. Most things are up and running. The elevators are slow because some are used for construction. The construction is barely noticeable. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The resort has recovered nicely from the hurricane, much quicker than others. Nearly everything was complete but one pool area which should be open end of April. If you have kids, can’t do much better than Pink Shell. Amazing experience and definitely want to return. They had a power outage out of their control that took longer than expected. It didn’t impact our day at all and they were still able to pivot and offer free dinner buffet to all guests that same night.

The staff is AMAZING!! The rooms are large clean and beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful we love the resort. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas at the pool and beach. Having kayaks and paddle boards down by the beach was fun too. They still have lots of construction going on around the property and they have trouble with the elevators but that is nobody’s fault it just takes time to rebuild and get everything back to perfect. We had a great time!

The room was great, very clean and wonderful view of the ocean. The property is beachfront. My biggest complaint about the resort is related to food options. Bongo’s restaurant is very slow with service and the quality of food is poor. We sat down and were told the food would take at least 45 minutes. The breakfast place was okay. The property definitely needs to enhance its food options. There wasn’t anywhere to go on property to buy snacks or water. The downtown area is walkable and can also be reached by a free tram that circles by around every thirty minutes. I would absolutely return to this hotel even with its flaws in dining options. The beachfront location and clean rooms were a huge plus. The pools are also very warm.
