"Kitchen was nice. Large area and all the amenities. If you were doing something major like thanksgiving roasts you might want to bring some favorite pans. However for easy lazy vacation cooking more than adequate The house set up was great. My almost teen enjoyed the privacy of the basement and the 8 year old was happy with her own room up near the master. The dock area was really nice for fishing and we enjoyed the fire pit with provided wood as well"

"My family and I stayed 2 nights while visiting Carowinds. The hotel is located in a nice area where we felt safe and it was quiet and easy access. The rooms were very clean, cold AC, very clean bathroom and really big. LOVE the shower!!!! Breakfast was good and well kept during the rush. Staff was very friendly and respectful. Only feedback I would have is to have the pull out bedding in the closet so you don’t have to run down to the front desk but, even then, the staff was very helpful. This will be our “go to” when we visit that area. "

"Great hotel- will be our go-to in the future in this area. Our room was updated, clean and comfortable and the bathroom has a fan which is important to me. AC worked well. Pool was warm and perfect for the kids. Courteous staff. Only downside was no free breakfast but that’s because you can pay for a really good one at the restaurant. "
