Filthy unhealthy.

I stayed with 2 grandkids. They dropped something on the floor and under the bed were items you don't want to think about. under the air conditioner was unwrapped candy that had mold on it. Obviously the room had not been cleaned. I took pictures and videos to the manager. He gave us another room (in the same condition) We had to find another place to stay

Clean linens but the room needs some serious deep cleaning and updating. The tub/shower finish was flaking off and stabs your foot, the carpet had a sticky film that we wore our sandals every moment, smell, enough mold to affect my allergies, the bathroom door was sticky everywhere but the doorknob, ran a cup of coffee and there were white and grey floaties in it from the maker. We needed a pet friendly room and appreciated the closeness to the back door for business but there have obviously been several dogs that lifted legs on the bed skirt and hadn't been washed. Coffee from the morning breakfast, and food offerings were decent and there wasn't much for noise through the walls or windows so we did get some sleep. We managed through for a one night turn and burn but I'd definitely check out other options.

Don't forget anything in your room!!

Stayed 2 nights. Left my shorts. Called to see if they found them. They had and even though I just paid over $250 to stay with them. They wanted to have be pay to ship them back. Since someone had already taken the $100 out of the pocket I passed. Definitely wouldn't stay again.

Baymont By Windham in Fort Dodge never fails us!

we always choose Baymont when visiting our son and his family in Ft Dodge. The place smells good, is always clean and everyone is friendly and the breakfast is always welcomed. :-)

Went to visit property (before) checking in (,was out getting food) and asked to upgrade room to a suite. The woman at the desk says not with 2 pets. I said i never said i was bringing pets. She preceeds on to say theres 2 dogs out in your car. So she completely stereotpyed me to begin with. Then they made my room right next to the office as if i was going to sneak them in. First off im not an idiot i wouldnt risk getting kicked out after spending over $100 on a ran down room And if i wanted to take my cry baby dogs i would have paid the fee like an honest person does. But i didnt want them to come they ruined previoys hotel experiances by whining. We got watched like a hawk by staff when we were swimming. Room wasnt the cleanest. Paint chipping all over the bathroom and tub. The sheets were wrinkeled and looked like they had been just made up from the previous person. Pool was small and had way to much chemicals in it. Burnt my face and eyes. Terrible experiance and id never visit there again.
