"We had a very peaceful night in this motel right by the Sound. While it’s a little ways from downtown, there are a couple of breweries nearby. We enjoyed sitting on a log on the beach watching boats come in for the night. Everything was clean and well maintained and staff was very friendly and caring."

"We really enjoyed our two night stay. Comfortable beds and enough space for a family of 5. We were mostly out exploring Whidbey during the day. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for breakfast and evening meals. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The view from the front room and deck is amazing. A couple of things to note: jets from the local naval base preformed training flights starting around sunset for a couple of hours. It didn’t really bother us and even fascinated our kids as a few flew right over, but something to note if you are sensitive to the noise or early to bed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and there isn’t anything within walking distance. This was just fine for us, We really enjoyed exploring the island. The location was central for travel south or north to all that Whidbey has to offer. Beautiful island! We would defiantly stay again."

Peaceful Waterfront Retreat -- Private Deck and Sunset Views

"We stayed here for six weeks. This property clicked off all the requirements we needed. All one level, comfortable living. The deck was so gorgeous it lured us out there to spend most of our time. The deck is brand new and has the best view ever. Adored watching the cruise ships coming and going from Seattle to Alaska. The host fails to show a picture of the wonderful laundry room, it is top notch with new large washer and dryer and a wash tub...once again all on the same level. Hey Bruce...how about a picture of that? ;-) Owners helped us out with a couple of minor issues, which were resolved quickly, With one being the coffee maker not working, so Diane set us a new one overnight. That's service! We enjoyed taking the ferry over to Port Townsend, as pedestrians to walk around and have lunch there. 10 bucks round trip for seniors. What a deal!Would love to come back here again. Heads up for groceries...the Grocery Outlet in Oak Harbor has wonderful pricing, and the best wine supply with very reasonable pricing."
