Rest easy at the Harbor Watch, a large-scale tiny home situated in the heart of Noyo Harbor, a historic and fully operational fishing harbor. At this vacation rental, you’re right on the water -- any closer, and you’d be swimming -- so you’ll have a front-row seat for our spectacular sunsets. It gives you the perfect vantage point to wave to passing fishing boats, keep an eye on the playful antics of frolicking seals, and listen to the lapping waters of the ocean. You’ll be the first to see any comings and goings, from curious wildlife to diving birds to resilient rowing teams.
Situated right on the pier, this recently renovated cabin offers the rustic charm of a fishing village bungalow coupled with a stellar list of amenities and easy access to the best destinations of the coast. There’s plenty to pique your interest wherever you go, with the harbor’s myriad attractions at your fingertips and the hidden gems of Fort Bragg and the Mendocino Coast just a short drive away. Check out the region’s great hiking trails through lush redwood forests or along the coast, elegant art galleries, charming shops, pristine beaches, or festive celebrations and events. Then treat yourself to a cone from the world-famous Cowlick’s Ice Cream or a pint from the award-winning North Coast Brewing Company.
You’re also just steps away from world-class restaurants that offer a variety of deftly crafted dinner options, many of which feature the bounty of the Pacific Ocean. Need to walk off a filling meal? Amble down the road to Noyo Harbor Beach and watch the waves splash over the breakwater before returning to the Harbor Watch to plan your next expedition.
If you prefer to cook your own meals, you’ll enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen. And if you want to get creative, you’ll find the best locally-sourced ingredients at nearby markets, from fresh-caught fish to grass-fed meat to tasty greens.
Looking for a quiet night in? Survey your domain from the upstairs loft, lounge in the living room downstairs, or park yourself in one of the chairs on the porch with your beverage of choice. Featuring splendid views, creature comforts, and great amenities, the Harbor Watch will keep you relaxed and refreshed throughout your time on the coast.
Even the seals need to rest sometimes (and in fact, you might spot them catching some Zs on the southern docks). When it’s time to call it a night, sink into your luxurious bed and dream big! The Mendocino Coast is your oyster.
NOTE: The ceilings in the loft are very low, about 4 feet high - very comfortable but just watch your head.

We loved this spot, the kids really loved having the loft space to their own. The harbor view was fantastic, we could walk to restaurants and the beach. Comfy beds and chairs.
If you're looking for luxury, this is probably not the place. But if you want a location that cant be beat, youve stumbled on to something great. A small fishing village, Noyo Harbor is one of our favorites. And this tiny house has it all! Everything we needed & a super great staff to help. Watching the fishing boats come & go, kayaking on the river & feasting on fish & chips, we had a marvelous time. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend.
Great spot! Clean… patio was great to hang and watch the boats and sea lions. So many places within walking distance. Everyone in each spot was so friendly. Quick response from host. Be sure to check spam folder for check-in directions as it does not come from VRBO.
Perfectly sized for a 'basecamp' that is near a lot of activities: beaches, kayaking, hikes etc. Being dog friendly was a big plus and its Noyo Harbor location provided an interesting look at a lot of the action of a working harbor.
The locals are welcoming, friendly, chatty.
Would do this again. Note: the boat horn/fog horn that goes off every 20-30 seconds does exist and becomes white noise. Didn't bother us, although I use noise masking earbuds because I am a light sleeper regardless, but it didn't affect anyone in my party.
I swept and mopped the floor when I arrived as it had not been done. Someone had used the toilet and not flushed it. This was the 3rd unit I had stayed in, the others were very nice and clean. This unit is like it has been forgotten, very sad. Clean up the weeds around the unit and the rats will go away. I was very disappointed.
My husband and I stayed at Harbor Watch over the chilly President’s Day week with our three kids (ages 17, 15 & 12) and had a lovely stay! We walked to the beach, played games, watched some classic cable tv, and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Northern California coast. The size of the property made me a bit nervous on booking but was so perfect for us. We were out and about most of the day and were able to talk and laugh together in the evenings… even when the kids were in the loft, the conversation was flowing and fun. The porch overlooking the water was amazing in the morning with my coffee and one night we grabbed Noyo Fish Company fish tacos to go and ate dinner at the picnic tables watching the birds and boats go by. The kitchen would have been challenging to cook meals for our family of five, but we had planned on enjoying the local fare, so we only made coffee and heated up grab and go breakfast items. Thank you to the gracious hosts for allowing dogs, so our little mini schnauzer came along to enjoy the beach and family time too.
Amazing location! We saw seals everyday! Beautiful sunset! House was clean and comfortable, a perfect landing spot for our family of 4 to explore the area.
We absolutely loved this place, the location is unbeatable! You walk out your door in the am to sea otters and seal to be seen right over the edge of the deck and in the evening the sunset is visible from the deck. The beach is a 4 minute walk, maybe 3 minutes. The state parks in the near vicinity are also stunning!
Such a fantastic addition to this area. I lived here in 1977, was very young, but remember Noyo fondly. I do remember back in the day, it was a pretty rough-tough, and yes, smelly little fishing village. Still has that same charm, minus the smell. Still a working fishing operation, and these little houses fit into the vibe perfectly. Modern amenities without the modern look. Everything you need is here, and you have that view. Love it and will be back.
Perfect getaway to relax and unwind. Dog friendly location as well. Harbor View is wonderful!
Our first time in Fort Bragg. All that we were expecting was to relax and enjoy the property. It is a great location in Noyo Harbor. Plenty of restaurants to choose from around you. We plan to visit again!

Plenty of communication with property manager,
The house was cozy, our daughter enjoyed the loft but was a bit uncomfortable for adults.
Nice view from back deck but the trailer park area was a bit odd.
This property is great for a small family getaway. This was the perfect fit for my wife, daughter and family dog. The property features a great harbor ocean view. It is centrally located around great sea food restaurants. Great dining is only a short walk away. A plus for dog owners, there is a beach for dogs only a short walk away. Owners are great and very responsive. I’m sure to make a return soon!
We had such a great time here. You can’t beat the location- right on the water! Cozy little cabin with everything you need. A beach just minutes away by foot, restaurants surrounding you, and an amazing view with gorgeous sunsets. We saw seals, and caught a ton of crab!! We dropped our kayaks in the water just down the road, and visited all the fun tourist spots. Highly recommend!
