Beautiful Home in the Heart of the Majestic Redwoods. Secluded on 10 acres.

Our beautiful home is located in the heart of the majestic redwood trees of Fort Bragg, Calif. This ideal location, which lies on 10 acres, is spacious and private, while still close to sightseeing and amenities. Just a mere 5 minutes from town and less than a mile from MacKerricher State Beach Park - famous for its white water surf, sandy beaches, and trails to hike and bike.

The large 1000-square foot wrap-around deck is perfect for entertaining, barbecuing, soaking in the hot tub or just relaxing with a good book. Host a game of cornhole with family and friends, or maybe a good game of ping-pong to start off your vacation. Just off the deck there is a huge backyard that offers plenty of room to play football, horseshoes, wiffle ball, or kick-the-can.

This home sleeps 10 comfortably and is perfect for large groups or smaller intimate parties. The large fully- equipped kitchen can accommodate any chef from the seasoned foodie to the simplistic cook or barbeque on the large gas BBQ on the deck. Open kitchen design with a four-burner stove and double ovens, stainless refrigerator with water filter, microwave, and dishwasher.

The spacious living room has panoramic glass windows that looks out into the redwoods letting in plenty of natural light. The room is complete with a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, Netflix, DVD and is perfect for enjoying movies or games by the fire. The main house has three bedrooms and two full baths. The large master bedroom has a Calif. King, double closets and mounted flat screen TV/DVD. The other two rooms are equipped with queen beds and mounted flat screen TV/DVD as well. Master bath has a walk-in shower and soaking bathtub. The main house is perfect for adults and small children. Additional attached kids/game room has four twin beds and a couch. Kids/game room has a large flat screen TV/Netflix/DVD, electric fireplace/heater, foosball table.

Perfect in every way!

I hesitate. If I say how perfect it was others will want to book it! It had everything we needed and things we didn’t realize we needed. For me it was next level and now it’s gonna be hard to settle for anything less. Everything I could think of they had. …SPACE, hot tub, peaceful surroundings, big windows, big kitchen, and the deck! Plus more. Just loved it.

Awesome house!

The house and property are amazing, we loved our stay! Just know that the kids room is away from the main house so if you have young kids you'll need an adult to sleep in that room too.

Beautiful Home in the Redwoods

This was our second time staying at the house. It is in an amazing location. It’s very peaceful at the property and very close to the beach with a beautiful walking path. The house is stocked with everything you could need for cooking and enjoying your stay. I highly recommend this home.

Lovely woodland retreat

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home in the woods. It was spacious, comfortable and quiet with a well appointed kitchen, a cost fireplace and even bikes in the garage. We would definitely come back.

There is no where better then this vacation house

Beautiful home Private, the house itself is beautiful. The land it sits on was fast 10 acres of property, beautiful redwoods on the property that you can sit in the middle of and just meditate or lay a blanket out and read a good book 10 minutes or less from the beach. The food on the wharf was amazing. Quaint little town that it sits in and the people were awesome.. Definitely we'll be coming back here again.

Birthday fun

We loved our stay. It would have been really nice to know that the 4 twin beds were completely separate from the house. That room is seperated by a garage with no doors to the house or even a bathroom attached. We spend so much money for our kids to sleep on air mattresses. Definitely not ideal for us. We have 2 boys with Austism and need to have them close. We really enjoyed the property. We had an amazing time with family.

A Beautiful Place to Stay

The property/home was absolutely lovely. It is very private, peaceful and comfortable. Our only regret was that our trip was so short and we couldn't take full advantage of all the amenities. While we didn't have our kids with us on this trip, we spent the entirety of our stay talking about how much our kids would have loved staying here with us. While this home is amazing on it's own, it is also a great home base between all the local activities. The property is a quick and easy drive to both Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Where we were able to enjoy food and shops, as well as a ride on the Skunk Train. We were also a hop, skip, and a short drive from a lovely winery directly on the coast. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips!

Nice property in the redwoods

When we arrived at the property we easily found the key safe and the key to the front door. The older home is clean and well maintained. It felt a little weird like you were staying in your friend’s grandparents’ house. The furniture and furnishings are all very dated. It has a nice big kitchen with dated tile countertops. The appliances were OK, the ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t work so we had to head to the store to buy ice. We looked through the house and checked out the three bedrooms but couldn’t find the fourth. Our group was four 75+ men who have taken an annual trip for years. The reason I booked this property was because it was advertised as a four bedroom three bath house. Unfortunately, it isn’t. It is a three bedroom two bath house with a kid’s room with four single beds. The room is attached to the far side of the garage. The kid’s room has no bathroom nor access to a bathroom without going outside, walking across the driveway in front of the house and in the front door. Can you imagine having to do that in the middle of the night? When I asked the host about this she said it is noted in the description, but it’s not. The description of the house should make it clear that the property is a three bedroom - two bath house with an available separate room attached to the garage. The mattresses were comfortable and the bedding was nicely done. Overall, it’s a nice old house in a beautiful setting among redwoods. It’s not far from MacKericher State Park.

Kitchen was set up with everything you would need. Fireplace was nice and warm. House was very clean but dated. Location was great, just far enough away from downtown. We loved our stay here!! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The house has everything you need especially the kitchen. We really enjoyed the fireplace while staying here also. The location was perfect for us, it’s right across the street from Makarricher state park and not for from town if you need to go for ice cream. Highly recommend.
