No one was at the desk when I arrived to check in. The employee was in the longe area watching TV and on her phone. After I called out “Is anyone here?” she came out but quickly returned to the lounge ASAP.

Noisy neighbors u til midnight. Only had room service every two days. Breakfast was removed before the 10 a.m. cutoff. Only one sink for a two bed room. Linited clothing storage. Limited water pressure.

A clean place. We had problems with our reservation and don't know where it went south — somewhere between Expedia/Hotels.com, the reservation was mistaken. We only had one of the two rooms reserved, and the other room (two queen beds) was unavailable. The staff was polite and corrected the problem the next day. We found our reservation in our emails and they found the right-sized room after the first night.

Be advised that customer service front desk was rude, also when trying to contact them several times they would not answer phone at all and would rederect to operator and would never answer , bed sheets had a few blood stains that was discusting , noise on upper level they was drilling or renovating up stairs and you can hear all the renovation, over all was a horrible experience at this location

The only concern was the shower. Took a shower and didn't need the accommodations for the handicap showers. Water went all over the floor. Got the towel mat wet making it more dangerous. The shower head should be mounted on front wall with a extended shower head like you have. But all in all it was a great stay.

Faucet would not shut off.
The first room I was given had an issue with the faucet in the tub. Once it came on, it would not go off. It was inconvenient; however the staff gave me a different room. We LOVED your heated pool, very nice!

When I arrived the girl that was checking people and made us wait at least 20 minutes while the woman ahead of us had to go back-and-forth to her car to find what she needed to get checked in. I think she was having trouble with her card. I’m 81 years old walk with a cane, have a hip replacement and Diamme with cancer. I don’t think she should’ve made us wait That woman that she was waiting on wasn’t ready to check in apparently

Love HIE. Our preferred hotels when driving cross country. BUT, they all need more hooks in the bathroom. Also, there is no recycling in place. Years ago in the HIE in Gananoque, Canada all breakfast containers from butter pats to heavy/duty cardboard plates were being recycled; same for soap slivers. We need to up our game in the US.

Excellent Hotel
First of all checking did not take more than one minute it was super fast. Mia at the front desk was so polite, professional, and welcoming. Our room was super clean my wife normally brings Clorox wipes to wipe off countertops and these were really clean. No dust or dirt. Room was spotless. Overall, it was a good stay. I can’t forget the breakfast. It was good they had a variety. Definitely would stay again.
