We enjoyed the sandy beach with crystal clear water, our 4-years old child enjoyed kids club with amazing Sylvia, we enjoyed aqua fitness with Peter (I think), the staff were very helpful and friendly although I would prefer if more of them speak English and not only Spanish (Catalan). We used main restaurant providing buffet service, the meals and their variety was good. We used also beach restaurant for lunches and we were satisfied, the quality of meals was goods and prices reasonable to the location. Our room was a little bit outdated and would need some refurbishment or repair – the sliding doors to the balcony cannot be easily opened, some furniture is old and needs to be replaced, but mainly beds and pillows were not comfortable. Overall, despite of some disadvantages we would certainly return back to the hotel in the future.

Nice hotel. Dated in parts. Food very nice. No cava/champagne at breakfast, but probably not great starting the day that way anyway. Waiter Sebastian singing while working was a nice sign - happy staff / happy customers! Sun beds on the beach are public, but not too terribly priced at €18 for 2 inc parasol. Beach next door is €30 for the same!! However, you have to claim quite early and you need to pay soon after 9am - or they remove your stuff!!! Happened to me 3 times - I was in holiday mode! Bed wasn’t the comfiest tbh, quite hard and just a sheet on the mattress. Worst was the air conditioning - it was so loud. I have earplugs as husband snores terribly, but he’s nothing on the aircon units! Also, they don’t go below 19 degrees - I’m all for thinking about climate problems, but it just meant that I could never turn it off. So overall, mattress, aircon racket and heat - sleep was poor on this trip. But the proximity to the beautiful beach and sea (much nicer spot than other locations on mijorn beach), good food and great service, make it that I will return here. Thank you to amazing hotel beach staff who performed incredible first aid on husband’s foot - BEWARE of hidden rocks within sand everywhere here!!

We went here for our honeymoon and loved it. Amazing food, right on a beautiful beach, staff is super friendly and easy to access most of island by bus if you want to explore other beaches.

Great view and beautiful water, but the rooms are small and dated and the hotel restaurant is absolutely horrible and we stopped eating there even though it was free. Even the boiled eggs tasted like chemicals probably because they use the very worst and cheapest ingredients. Even the tomatoes were awful. There are a few other restaurants near the property like Flipper and Casablanca which are tasty but very expensive. The spa was closed, and there is no room service and the bar only opens from 6 to 11.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night after 2 nights in Ibiza. Overall I would say it was fine to stay at this hotel for 1 night for the price I paid. (I got a good offer due to Covid 19). It is in a nice area of the Island, where you can visit the light house and see sunsets. The good: The hotel is in a good location by a nice beach, with amazing water. Pools are is good not amazing. The not so good: Hotel room and pool area feels dated and not a 4 star feeling. It did feel odd that as a guest you had to pay for the beach chairs and umbrellas to stay at what fealt as a private beach. Breakfast was a big disappointment for me as I would say it is 3 star and not 4 star quality. Also one of the coffee machines were broken coffee machine so we had to quee for a while to get coffee, which is not ideal in the morning.

Clean and well-located
The hotel is very large, and located right on a beautiful part of the beach, next to a very good restaurant (Es Culpina) and a chiringuito. It is very resort-like but everything was clean and chic and the staff were very helpful - they printed a boarding pass and delivered it to my room immediately. I did not eat in the hotel.

Amazing attention, all clean and tidy, really nice amenities. We had a free upgrade with sea view, so more than amazing! The food was good, have a lot of choices in the buffet but the quality of it was a bit mediocre to be completely honest, that's the only "bad" thing I could say, but you have a couple of restaurants in the area as well. A mini golf, tennis and football nice area. The beach was a little dirty and quite full of rocks, the beach seating area is not part of the hotel per se so you have to pay extra, but there's a pool area and the bar is next to it as well, a bit further but enough to have a great sea view or leave your things there when you go into the water. But overall was great, would definitely recommend.

I've booked that hotel, because I loved the pool and the terraced bar/restaurant.All stay at RIU was amazing, because my boyfriend proposed there :) I couldn't have dreamed about a better place for the proposal ;) There was lovely atmosphere, people and music. Brakfast was the best ever- all included in the price! Definately recommend! I would love to go back there one day! :D

Relaxing hotel with beautiful views
We enjoyed our four night stay very much. The hotel had many pluses including a rental car desk in the lobby, nice, clean pool, a spacious bathroom, good food, and a friendly, helpful staff. The only negative were the beds, which my daughter and I found hard and uncomfortable. This may be a personal preference.

OK but...
This was our first trip to formentera - and let me start by saying that the island is beautiful. This hotel had exceptional customer service, however left a lot to be desired elsewhere. Most disappointing was the room... the linens were tired (pilling, very rough and worn and I found holes on one occassion), the bed was uncomfortable (we like a firm bed, however this was an ageing spring mattress and the springs would dig in overnight), tired furnishings... on the upside, it was always clean and the hotel is well located. We are a couple and the resort is very much geared towards families - lots of games, entertainment ect but not very conducive to a romantic trip. There is a bit too much activity for my liking (I.e activity staff approaching you while on the sun loungers to partake in a games to win a cocktail). The pool areas were always very busy and so was the beach in front of the resort (however to be fair, this was peak period and most of the islands beaches were this way). If I had a young family, I'm sure this trip would appeal to me as they have lots for kids to do and put on regular shows to keep them entertained. If you are a couple wanting a romantic trip, or a group on an adults getaway then I would recommend staying elsewhere. The location is great and the staff were extremely helpful but I think the hotel needs to invest in a more comprehensive refurbishment to justify the prices. Happy to pay the price but value for money simply isn't there.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I booked bungalow for 4 nights but we left after the 2nd night coz we couldn't sleep. The hotel has a private access to a beach which is ok,very far from local shops&night hangout area.The bungalow looks super nice on the pics but there was a major problem with the beds, they were spring old beds with very thin pillows.I had the worst neck pain ever and i could not sleep at all the first nite. My husband ended up with stiffed neck and could not move his head for 5 days. We had to leave and we were declined a refund and hotels.com offered a $100 credit which we havent received yet. The customer service was the worst part, no doubt-10. We were charged for a phone call that they made on our behalf to hotels.com at the front desk but it was supposed to be a courtesy phone call, when you check in they don't tell you how to call reception or the spa, they didn't give you a map of the hotel and they don't explain whats included or not,they don't even bring u ice to the room.They also charged me 350 euros when I arrived coz i requested a crib.We were all having dinner at the hotel restaurant- all the family sat, with the self served dinner on the table- and suddenly a server approached us &started bombarding us with lot of questions which was rude in my opinion,so we asked the restaurant manager for a different server. She replied to us:"you guys can move to another table if you don't like the service" of course this lady refused to provide her name but she had very short brown hair

Excellent value for money & great service.
The hotel's location on the edge of beautiful Migjorn beach did not disappoint. The wonderful, friendly service from the staff & the fabulous quality & variety of the food surpassed my expectation. I'd recommend this hotel for all types of travellers, families, couples & solo's, perhaps not anyone with walking difficulties due to the number of steps around the hotel. Thank you, a lovely relaxing break.

Great hotel, great staff
The location is fantastic, next to one of the best calas in the island and close to the lovely El Pilar de La Mola. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Great choice of food for everyone at the restaurant. The swimming pool and beach are well kept and the view is wonderful. The room we stayed in was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, with the extra of a very nice balcony with great sea views.

Great hotel for families
The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, which has shallow water so ideal for children. The hotel is in good condition with excellent free kids club for 4-7 year olds and another for older children. 2 swimming pools, a small one near the restaurant and a large one right by the beach. Negatives: beds are really hard. Restaurant is fine for breakfast but the dinner buffet isn't great quality - rather canteen-like and there is very limited outside seating and no view of the sea from the restaurant. However there is a wonderful bar and restaurant just to the left of the hotel called Es Cupina where you can sit looking right onto the sea. It's reasonably expensive but worth it for the delicious food and amazing view.

Great place and service. Loved just about everything. The list of minor pet peeves: beds a bit too firm (and I like firm) - they brought softer mattress toppers after we asked, room and safe used physical keys (at least in the bungalows we were in) - pain to drag around. Note: the sea in front of the hotel had a lot of jellyfish when we there. We hoped on a scooter and drove 5 minutes away (other side) and zero jellyfish on that side.
