The rooms at Villa Loreta are large and clean in bright sunny colours. The air conditioning was the best I've experienced in Italy - quiet and cooled the room down in minutes. The bed was very comfortable - I slept really well. The breakfast had a choice of savory and sweet! Not your average sliced meats and cheese, but interesting little savory dishes, like braised fennel with a light cheese sauce, aubergine slices stuffed with ricotta. The cakes were amazing.
Villa Loreta is a short walk to the little piazza at Citara and a few minutes from the Giardini Poseidon thermal park. The climb up is a little steep so you might want to pace yourself a bit.
Vito is an amazing host - what a treasure! It makes all the difference to have someone who cares about your comfort and well being during your stay. He gave us tips about travelling around Ischia and sites. He was always busy but nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
I recommend Villa Loreta for those who would like an economic but excellent alternative to the usual hotels in the area.

Our stay was perfect in this hidden little gem overlooking the sea! Special mention for Vito and his amazing breakfast. He went above and beyond for us to ensure we had the best possible experience in Ischia. Highly recommend booking this superb little hotel.

Very nice rooms, amazing breakfast and hospitality
Vito is so lovely, the Villa is very nice and close to the beach and one of the thermal spas and the room is spacious and very clean. The breakfast is literally an attraction. I wish i had a bigger stomach to eat more as everything is handmade. You will definately not be disappointed.

Superbe !
Séjour idyllique sur l'île d'Ischia grâce à la disponibilité et la gentillesse de Vitto, l'hôte de la villa Lorreta. Nous avons été très bien reçu et recommandons chaudement cette adresse. La vue est magnifique depuis la terrasse de la chambre et le petit-déjeuner maison vaut le détour !
