"We loved staying in the Mangawhai cottage hosted by Haedie and Paul. It was just perfect. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linen, duvets and great pillows.It was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again. Our thanks for a happy and relaxing stay. Angela & Carolyn."

"The heated towel rail didn’t work and I couldn’t get the oven to work as there appeared to be no instructions, the same with the washing machine in that it had only been set for a cold wash however this had not been communicated. It was a lovely quiet place"

"The property is fabulous and really comfortable for large groups Could really do with a new bbq as the one they have is dirty and rusty and only one burner was going. Could also do with a quick “how to” for the hob as it wasn’t easy to operate Some minor updates and this house would be a full 5 star accommodation as it truly is special"

"We did notice that the bed linen was pretty warn could be ungraded . Thankfully we did take extra blankets . The indoor fireplace was great to be around but we had to bring inside the outdoor furniture inside as lack of lounge chairs by the fire place Something that was disappointing was that the sleepout bed had been used and had sand etc in it the bed . We had to wash them . We did book the whole place with that room as we were a large group needing that room . The kitchen and bathrooms were very good"
