"the house fulfilled the remit as a good place to stay for a family with young children. My sister and I met up with my brother and his family who live in Germany. There was lots of space outside for them to play also with badminton set and archery. There was also good storage facilities for bikes etc. We loved the large woodburner and plenty of logs which heated the house well. The two toilets separate to the shower and bathrooms was also good. We didn't like the nylon covers for the chairs...

"Everything about our stay was perfect, the cottage had everything you could ask for. The hosts were extremely nice and also helpful, though as the cottage was fabulously equipped we had no call to bother them after the meet and greet except to pass on the keys as we left. A lovely garden (equipped with a table and chairs) that leads onto a wonderful lake. Our dog also accompanied us on the 5 night holiday and loved the walk around the lake. A perfect place to unwind. "Our family had a pleasant stay for a week in this house. The rooms are big and have seperate bathrooms. The ambiance is lovely; just like you would expect in the French countryside. There is a lovely garden and all the comidities are present. The area is beautiful, quiet and full of nature and history. We found the people in this area of France really friendly and polite. Great stay! By the way: the house looks better in real life than on the pictures. The interior is less pink than you would...

"A wonderful welcome from very friendly ladies, the cottage is absolutely amazing in every way. Perfect quiet location, great amenities with a stunning heated pool. We would highly recommend this for families of friends. The only slight problem was that we were not aware towels would not be provided; there was no mention of this on the website (vrbo UK). We have stayed in France many times and not come across this before. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday and such happy memories....
