"The grounds of this property are gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. Dinner is delicious! We didn’t do breakfast (€17/person) because we prefer a cafe in town. The room was fine, the beds and pillows were very firm and we had trouble sleeping. There is a hammock, and I wish there were more cozy chairs to lounge in since there really isn’t much to do besides read. There were games out on the first day, then it rained and they went away and we didn’t see them again. We traveled with two young kids and while I loved the property grounds, it wasn’t the best place for kids."

Before our boat trip, she even surprised us with a cooler bag to take with us for the day—a small gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel’s thoughtful and caring approach to hospitality. She is exactly the kind of person every hotel hopes to have representing them. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was another highlight, with delicious fresh options and eggs prepared à la minute, exactly the way you like them. The restaurant deserves special recognition.
