"It smelled like weed in the hallways. ROACHES! There was holes, missing tiles, flooring was sticky, holes in doors, paint chips everywhere. A homeless camp looks better."

"Everything was stained and gross, from the towels to the bedding. The breakfast offering was sad, the amenities were lacking, the experience was lackluster. We will not be staying here ever again."

"The room and bathroom were in rough condition. The room was also filthy. The top blanket also had dried food stuck to it. Check-in was not ideal it was not in person and on a screen with someone I could not understand. I was very disappointed with my stay and the lack of a front desk person. Would not recommend at all."

"It’s a nice suite we have stayed in before. This time was not so good the furniture is very uncomfortable, cabinets are falling down, and tile is coming apart. There are two tvs and both are impossible to work with poor internet. "

"A pleasure to stay in this home! The host was responsive, the home was well stocked with extra linens and kitchen items, and the laundry room was really helpful. It was amazing to have a home that was accessible for people with mobility issues, especially in icy weather where steps are dangerous. There was a shovel available to keep the walkway clear. My kids really enjoyed the ping pong table as well. I really appreciated the host and this home for our trip. "

"This hotel is run on the bare minimum. In 3 days I only saw 2 people working there, and a third when I checked out. When checking in, the desk attendant seemed to be sleeping in the lobby. The bedding on the king bed were queen size. I don't know what all the wiring and connectors were that were in an open box nex to the TV, but I've never seen anything like it out in the open in a hotel room. Everything looked old and worn. The breakfast was practically non-existent. The apple juice was almost completely water with just a bit of juice mixed in. The lids for coffee cups were not the right size to fit properly so you couldn't even take a cup of coffee to go. I have stayed in AmericInns on a number of occasions and generally the experience has been good. But, I will not be staying at this one on my next trip to the Council Bluffs area. However, I suspect that will not be a decision I will have to make because I can't imagine this place will be open much longer."
