"In March I booked stay for one night at Bleis in May but I realized soon I could not make it from the airport before the reception closed. I asked them to move the stay one day that I could stay in another hotel and drive to them in the morning. "Second visit: after 2 years, Grand Hotel Comano Terme is still the same luxury, well maintained wellness hotel with it's beautiful Comano Terme Park (34 acres or 14 hectares) scuptured like an enormous Japanese Garden alongside an idyllic mountain stream with views at the surrounding Brenta Dolomiti Mountain peaks. There are enough entertainment features and programs for young and old. General staff and management is very forthcoming and multilingual, however all service personnel truly appreciate a view words in Italian if guests are you willing to try.... We are looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful place of calm and civility! Recommended for vacationers who are not interested in (overpriced) tourist traps where bar hopping is considered the key benefit. Notes: although the mailing address of the hotel indicates Stenico, the facilicity is just meters outside of Ponte Arche, called after the historic Ponte delle Tre Arche. The town of Stenico is situated at a 5 km drive up the mountain and has a different character, in my experience, less friendly compared to Ponte Arche. Be sure to use the physical location of the hotel (on the map) when programming your GPS navigation, do not use the mailing address!"

"Clean rooms and hotel. Excellent service at the restaurant. Couldn’t open the windows or use the balcony/deck because there was a very loud, constant sound coming from beneath the deck - maybe the HVAC system? Unbearably loud, 24x7. Upon checkout, I wanted to tip the chambermaid but realized only had US dollars. I asked for advice from the woman at the front desk and her response was that they had “No use for dollars”, her overall tone condescending, as if I was offering complete garbage. I realize it wasn’t ideal but I wanted to leave the chambermaid something rather than nothing. The negative interaction was a disappointing last experience with the hotel ."
