Islander Resort

"The grounds at this resort are so beautiful! We always enjoy being here. The ice machine near our room wasn't functioning but the front desk had ice to our room in less than 10 minutes. The beaches were suffering with the sargassum but there is nothing the resort can do about that. Happy hours deals were good. Service at the pool was good. We enjoyed the spacious patio for our room. We also enjoyed the resort providing an astronomer at the pier for the meteor shower that night, What a special and unexpected touch!"

"The area was well maintained, plenty of parking,check in was easy and staff helpful with questions. Our room had king bed, the bed was very comfortable and linens clean. Kitchen had utensils, cups, plates enough for 2. Coffee was provided along with 12 cup maker. The unit was clean and linens provided, towels, wash clothes and hand towels. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner also provided. Our body wash was empty and front deck replaced within 5 minutes. Balcony view are of a harbor, not noisy, no smells. Balcony furniture could be updated. Units are quiet, couldn’t hear your next door neighbor. Received a text message, I believe twice, while we stayed, asking if we needed anything. Towels proved for pool use. The pool was clean. We’d stay there again if in the area"

"Unfortunately our villa was close to the turtle hospital and it was a rotten smell during our stay that made it impossible sitting outside on the porch enjoying the outside. Seem to be a known problem"

"Stayed in build 7 and it had a great view restaurant was good the bars where nice and most of all I booked a fishing trip with Whiskey Throttle guide service and Sean put me on a dinosaur of a tarpon and boy was it a beast. If the fishing is slow grab Whiskey Throttle for a great water adventures."
