Cozy log cabin. Knotty pine walls. Air conditioning. Queen bed and full over full bunk bed. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, Flat top griddle, toaster oven and washer/dryer. Keurig coffee pot / K-cup. Pots, pans, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware and utensils. 39" smart TV. Free Wi-Fi. Updated bathroom. Enclosed porch. Large lakeview deck. Fire pit and charcoal grill. 1 bedroom bunk house with half bath, Queen bed 32" smart TV. Beautiful clear water lake. Plenty of wildlife in and around the lake. Dock and raft. kayak, canoe and stand-up paddle board. tubes, noodles, kick boards and snorkel gear. Our bunk house is closed between 11/1 thru 4/30. 4 people max occupancy for the main cabin. 6 max occupancy after 5/1 when bunk house is reopened. Local boat rentals on ATV/UTV trails.

Lovely Week at the Lake

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week on Lake Ellwood. The lake was clear and having access to kayaks, a paddle board, noodles, etc made for big fun in the water. The cabin and bunkhouse provided plenty of room for our family of four adults. Even without air conditioning, the cabin cooled nicely with ceiling fans and tower fans. Strong wi fi and cell coverage made it easy for remote work. The neighboring towns were fun to explore on rainy days. Don’t hesitate to book this cabin.

Small but everything we needed

This place was on the small side but we had 5 adults and it was not an issue. The place has that Northwoods Cabin feel and it was up to date. The bathroom was sizable with washer and dryer in it. We were able to cook and eat with no problem although the kitchen is not gourmet friendly with cooking supplies. There are a few steps down to the water but they are well designed and were not a problem for 65 yr old like me. The gem of the cabin is the fire pit area and we spent much of our time sitting around the fire.We would not hesitate to book this place again.

Great stay!! Cabin is clean and well stocked. Great location with turkey, deer and waterfowl everywhere! Several excellent restaurants nearby for your dining pleasure. The owners are super accommodating and very responsive. If we are in this area again we will definitely book this cabin. Great cabin experience

Stayed for a long weekend with our teenage kids and a couple of their friends. Everyone had a good time. Lots of swimming, fishing, kayaking, smores and more. The cabin had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our week at Lake Ellwood! Kent's cabin was wonderful for our family of 4 and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It was fantastic having to just bring ourselves and to not have to worry about bedding and towels, as all of it is provided; just bring yourselves and whatever clothes you need - the rest is here! We especially loved having access to the paddleboard, canoe, and all the tubes - we all had a great time. Kent and Kevin answered any questions we had and were excellent hosts. Lake Ellwood is a total gem (probably one of the cleanest lakes we've ever stayed on) and this cabin - the perfect place to get away in the Northwoods! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Northern Wisconsin Splendor

I booked the cottage/cabin on beautiful Lake Ellwood as I spent many years as a child and adult in this area. All of the weekend brought back fond memories. Lake Ellwood is beautiful, the eagles soared and the deer are plentiful. Kayaking and swimming along with the time spent with friends made this a lovely weekend in a cabin surrounded by tall pines overlooking the lake. Kevin and his wife are wonderful. We hope to return.
