I'm old enough to remember what a real motel (motorhotel) was, where you literally drive your car up to your door. Not much in the way of amenities, and you are not part of an enclosed hotel structure. Nevertheless, the room was fine - clean, everything worked and bathroom facilities obviously recently modernized, new-seeming. Only possible downside to the motel layout is that you are subject to whatever goes on in the parking lot, which on this Friday night included a number of work-trucks with workers congregating after their workday. All was quiet by about 10 pm.. But for the price, it was a good value proposition.

We stayed in the hotel over night . The property was remodeled years ago so you can tell that rooms are nice and don’t smell. The price was decent comparing to other hotels around . We would definitely recommend this hotel. The only issue was the pillows very strange in shape and stuffing

I have a difficult time finding anything positive about our stay. The online rating for this property is clearly not a true reflection of the property. We checked in late at night and when we walked into the room we were immediately hit with a strong foul odor like old urine. Desk person brought us a bottle of air freshener but that didn’t help. We could not wait to get out of the room and back on the road. Never again at this or other HJ’s.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Canada. The room was modern/ upgraded and very clean. The price was excellent at $71. /night. Would highly recommend this property. Continental breakfast included. Check in process with the gentleman however was extremely slow and we were the only ones checking in . The lady at checkout was grumpy and not friendly at all. We were on second floor and there are no elevators.

We arrived at 2am but we called at 7pm and receptionist left a note that we would be there about 2am. When we arrived the night receptionist was extremely rude. We let that go and did not say anything. When we got to our room the door was open and made us feel super uncomfortable and anxious. Room was dirty! Mirrors were disgusting, toothpaste in sink, bathroom had hair in drain dirty toilet and nasty shower! We will never go back!!!!

Staff was friendly. Sheets were clean and towels were clean but there were dead bugs on the floor around the table between the two queen beds. The luggage holder was broken so I couldn’t put my luggage UP off the floor had to put it in the tub for the night. Microwave was all rusted around interior of the door and there was a live cockroach on the wall up by the ceiling. I slept in my clothes with my pants tucked into my socks. No clue how breakfast was didn’t want to chance it after the bugs. Left right away in the morning. Glad I had only booked one night.
