Sitting in the middle of three lots, this 5+ acre property is expansive, picturesque, and has a park like feel! Much like our first VRBO property, #2020655, this property is also located on the famous and trout-filled White River!
This fully remodeled 5 bedroom/4 bath features a modern and well appointed open floor plan for the main level kitchen, dining, and living space, which has a stunning view of the river and bluff beyond! 3 of the 4 bedrooms on the main level also have river views and 2 have en-suite bathrooms! The basement level features a living space with TV and games for the kids, a full bath, and a bunk room with 2 twin over full built-in bunk beds! While each room is also equipped with an internet connected TV for streaming your favorites, the TV's in the living room, basement, and on the back deck are connected to Dish Network with basic, kids, outdoors, and sports channels. Other amenities include: fiber optic high speed internet, enhanced cell phone coverage, gas grill, gas smoker, Bluetooth connected outdoor speakers, and gas fire pit on the back deck! You can chose to relax on the spacious outdoor living spaces and watch the river go by, or walk right down to the river and take a swim! But be forewarned, the river is quite chilly!
The house is conveniently located 1/4 mile from the White Hole Public Access for easily launching your fishing boat, one of the best fishing holes on the river! Then, just motor down to the house, load up the gear and the rest of the anglers and start fishing! This stretch of the river is loaded with rainbow, brown, golden, tiger, and cutthroat trout! Don't have a boat? No problem! Rentals are available near by, or you can always fish from the bank or wade fish. Guided half-day and full-day fishing trips are also readily available from local vendors. Other area attractions within a short drive include: Bull Shoals Lake, Bull Shoals Caverns, Bull Shoals Dam Overlook, Cotter Spring/Bridge, or a round at Big Creek Golf and Country Club. Good day trips include: Buffalo National River and Park, Blanchard Springs and Mystic Caverns, as well as Branson, MO attractions.
While the grill, smoker, and fully equipped kitchen with service for 18 is ready for use, if you are ready for a night or two of not cooking, there are several restaurants within an easy drive. A few favorites are Bush's Pizza, 178 Club, and KT's Smokehouse BBQ.
Four legged family members are welcome, too! We have a fenced area of yard for them to enjoy the Arkansas outdoors!
Extra fees: Pet fee is $55 for entire stay. Extra guest fee is $30/person/night (> 6 guests) Cleaning fee is $200
We look forward to seeing you at Redbud at the White Hole!

Our group of 6 fish the area every year together. This home was our favorite so far. Great location, plenty of space, easy access to the river. We plan to return again!
This is our second time staying at the property, and it's spacious, clean and fully stocked. We loved our time and will continue to stay year after year!
Worked well for our two families. Every new year for the past 5 years, our two families celebrate the new year together and this house and location worked well for our two families of 4 and our two 4-legged family members. Would stay again and can’t beat the location….the White River is literally in the backyard.
We had a family weekend to celebrate Christmas. We had family there from 90 years old down to 4 years old. There is plenty of room and the home is very nice for everyone to get around and very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this home to stay
This is a great place for a group. This is the second time our family has stayed here for a trout fishing weekend. The guides pick us up at the riverside at the back of the house - great location! The house is clean, nicely furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. We really enjoy this place.
Had a wonderful long weekend at this house for a group of friends spread out across the U.S.!
Location was incredible and a very nice drive from Springfield airport.
Clean, well played out and for shoes we will be back one day no doubt!
The home was in the perfect location to enjoy the river and was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in the area. We brought our dog along, and the fenced in yard was perfect. We highly recommend Craner’s fishing guides. It was also convenient to have Walmart deliver our groceries the afternoon of check in.
We had great time at the property. Property is located right on the river and perfect fishing spot. Very clean and well maintained house with all needed amenities for great weekend away. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
Small family get together for a 60th birthday party. The house and area were perfect. The location on the river allowed the kids to fish and swim. We will definitely stay here againagain.
Upon arriving at the property, we were blown away by its stunning location and sheer perfection. Stepping inside was equally impressive—the place was beautiful, inside and out! The house is spacious and family-friendly, making it ideal for fishing and spending quality time with loved ones.
We really enjoyed our stay the week of Thanksgiving. It was quiet and peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. The home was large and we had more than enough space, which was nice so everyone could have their own corner if they wanted to step away from the group. We also really enjoyed the deck! Several days were too cold for us to sit outside for long, but there's huge windows all over the house so you can still enjoy the views. Overall fantastic place!
This is our second stay at the home, and we can’t wait to come back. We love the large kitchen island for cooking and serving, the grill, and fire table for nights on the patio. The downstairs is a huge hit for the kids, who spent most of the weekend down there! We’ve stayed at 4 or 5 different properties in the area and this one by far is the best. We had a blast.
We chose this house for a family vacation to celebrate my FIL’s 87th birthday. There were a variety of our family there and the spaces were great for us. The house is in a beautiful location - our fishing guides picked us up in the backyard at the riverbank - very convenient. We cooked large dinners each night and made breakfast and lunch in house each day. The kitchen is very well appointed; we found everything we needed to make our planned meals. The open kitchen/dining/living layout is great for a larger group. The view out the back of the house and back deck is priceless! We very much enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
This was a great place!
Great family fun! We had 8 adults and 7 kids 10-5 months. Plenty of room to spread out. Bunk room in the basement was perfect for my son and his wife with 5 kids. We had a fishing guide pick us up in the back yard on the White River. Four trout were caught off the bank. 32 caught on the trip. River was pretty high this time of year. The adult kids enjoyed time around the fire pit. Basement and 3 rooms had access to the deck/patio. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked with cooking pots, pans and dishes. Highly recommend! Host was amazing too!
Overall an outstanding property. The cleaning staff was just finishing up when we arrived to check in. They were very pleasant and helpful. This is our 4th time staying here and we are always happy to be there. The house is well stocked with cooking pans, utensils, spices etc...Only negatives were probably not enough trash bags, paper towels, or toilet paper for 8 people staying there and there was no laundry soap to do the towels at check out. That said, we could've called to request more....
We did give the BBQ grill a thorough cleaning. I don't think anyone cleans or checks the grill or smoker on a regular basis.
This is an annual trip for our family and by far the best place we have ever stayed on the White River. The home is gorgeous and so cozy. We did lots of fishing and the garage and mud room allowed for easy access to all our gear. The view and acreage around the house are so pretty and peaceful. We brought bikes and rode up and down the driveway and down the road. The public boat access is super close. I cooked every day and never needed anything-well stocked kitchen. The decks overlooking the river, gas fire pit and down stairs hang out space is amazing. We saw tons of eagles, lots of other wildlife and one morning even saw 30+ deer in the front. There is a Walmart and Harp's grocery store really close. Also a great liquor store called Judicious is about 25 minutes away. We would love to return! Thanks so much for an excellent stay!
I would absolutely recommend this home for others and I would 100% stay here again.
Pros:
- Tricia, prop manager, super nice and responsive.
- Location, on the White river and right near Whitehole Public access.
- Size, plenty large and lots of bathrooms. Multiple rooms with attached bathrooms.
- The outside fenced yard was perfect as we have a 10 year old dog and a 8 month old puppy who needs to be contained.
- The deck and river access that was able to be fished in low water.
- Kitchen - size able to host and everyone and cook. Lots of spices and oils.
A few cons: the house is expensive, these things should be taken into consideration:
-75% of the remotes need new batteries, so we were switching them around trying to get them to work.
- The comforters on the bed were extremely hot and there wasn't really another option such as a lighter blanket.
- The grass in the fenced yard was so long and it was so humid that we got soaking wet every time were were out there with the dogs. Also made cleaning up poop difficult. They told us it was going to be mowed while we there, but it didn't happen.
- Expensive Cleaning fee and then asking to wipe counters down and start laundry. This was not in the initial house rules, or posted on VRBO, and felt like a surprise when we got there. We don't mind taking out trash/dishes, but after you pay an expensive fee I don't think it's reasonable to have to initiate cleaning.
- bedroom stair lights don't go off
