• The result of lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers on long-haul flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and feet moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.

The trick is to be organised before you reach airport security. That way, you'll be hopping onto that plane to Ungaran in a flash. Follow these tips and get your trip off to a terrific start:

• Security personnel first need to verify that you have a valid passport and matching boarding pass before you can proceed any further. Have them close by, ready for inspection.
