My family and I enjoyed our time in this quaint, well equipped, clean house. Located right in the heart of town, this spot was also an easy 15 minute ride to Lambertville and New Hope.
The property was as pictured and described - spacious, clean, updated, and comfortable. The beds and bedding, shower, and kitchen were A+. More than everything we needed for our family of five.
ideal location, walking distance to everything we needed. Able to visit with so many relatives in the Flemington erea. Clean quiet and just the correct size.
You can't go wrong with this one. It's a lovely older home in the center of Flemington, comfortable and in the middle of town. Restaurants are within walking distance and our personal favorite, the Historical Society, was near. We met so many helpful and friendly people.
What a warm home and perfect location! We loved being able to come "home" after a long day and relax. Location was awesome- walkable to cute restuarants and close to everything we needed. House was super clean and beds were comfortable. Hope to stay again next summer! Thank you!
The house was perfect for our girls get away weekend. It had everything we could possibly need. The owner contacted me regarding parking and the door lock, with very clear instructions. He couldn’t have been nicer. We were in close proximity to New Hope, which was a great little town. We truly enjoyed our stay. I’m
My nieces and i thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is very pretty and our stay there was very relaxing. The house was immaculate and provided all we needed. I had a question on our first day there and the owner was very responsive to my phone call.
We loved staying in this home! The entire space was gorgeous, and it may have been the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The beds were so comfortable! The owner gave us very detailed instructions, which we appreciated. It made the check in/check out process seamless. It was also close to Sesame Place, which was very convenient for us!
We recently spent a night at this home while my son played at an area baseball tournament. The home is so charming and was extremely spacious for our group of four. Our host provided detailed instructions. The location was so convenient for our tournament and there were many good restaurant options nearby. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank you!
This property is exactly as the picture shows, modern and clean. My family and I enjoyed our stayed. The only thing I would recommend is that they have washcloths available. But, I will not ding them for this, because overall the property deserves a 5 star review. It's in an excellent location and close to restaurants/shopping. The communication with the host was good as well. I would definitely rebook with Main St. Living again and I would recommend this property to anyone.
I loved, loved, loved this home! I stayed the week after the New Year and many residents still had their Christmas lights up. We had a little snowfall and with all the Victorian era homes on this street, it was like living inside a real life Dickens Village. The home is super cozy, tastefully decorated, original wide plank flooring and floor to ceiling front windows. Just beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, along with a spacious dining table. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Each bed had a weighted duvet which made you feel snug as a bug while sleeping. DNKY toweling as well! One of the reviews mentioned it was noisy. We didn't experience that at all. My mother took the front bedroom, I took the back. We had an amazing night's sleep. I was born and raised in Central NJ but have lived in a quiet forest area of NW Wisconsin for 30+ years so I am used to profoundly quiet nights. This location was perfect. It's on Main Street so there is some traffic during the day but we found it to be very quiet in the evenings. Ian was wonderful to work with, I'd love to be able to use this home again when I visit family. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Overall the house was great for my partner and I for a 5 night stay for a wedding. Another friend was slated to join but didn't and I consider it fortunate because otherwise we would have had an issue over who gets the quiet bedroom in back of the house.
I am surprised no other reviews mention the noise level from the street. Front bedroom with 3 windows facing Main Street 20 ft away was impossible to sleep in. I tried the first night and basically didn't sleep at all. A traffic light is right outside the house so the road and intersection are intense.
Slept in the back bedroom the next 4 nights, it was totally quiet, super comfortable bed and slept really well.
The house is accurately represented in photos. Laundry room is really nice and huge, enjoyed using it.
While there are mirrors in the house, there was no full length mirror. I went and bought one at Home Goods and propped it against the wall to be able to dress properly for events each night.
We parked one car in driveway and the other around the corner on Church St., it was very close, free, and safe to park there.
House is easily accessible to lots of things in the area because of its Main St. location, only downside of that is the high noise level from being on Main St..
Gave house 4 stars, if not for the high-traffic location and road noise it would be 5.
I now imagine the "Main Street Livin'" moniker is intended to foreshadow the road noise.
I would stay again, definitely, only using quiet back bedroom!:))
We had a great stay! The house is very beautiful and has everything you could possible need. We were fortunate to have some beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting out on the great front and back porches. Flemington is a cute little town and there is several restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely recommend!
My mom, my sisters and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was all that was advertised and much more! Thank you Ian for helping us make memories that will stay with us forever!
Beautiful old home in a great neighborhood. Main street is noisy, but not overwhelming. The long term tenants are very polite and quiet. Parking in the rear is tight with large vehicles. Extremely Clean and well maintained home.
Very clean, bright and welcoming. Easy to walk to local restaurants and downtown shops, quiet at night. We had a combination of family and friends and everyone enjoyed their stay immensely. Great place to decompress after some intense daytime meetings.
