Flagstaff

This was a great property. The kitchen was lacking some utensils and the bunk bed ladders were not secured properly. Otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed the fire pit and fire place.

Just okay but great if you have kids

Kitchen needs an update. Not well equipped for cooking. Backyard not appealing. Beds and upstairs family room furniture comfy. The neighborhood is a bit wild with kids running around and taking over. Great for families with school aged kids but not a peaceful oasis for those who want rest.

Pretty views but property could use maintenance.

Layout of home was 2 levels of circular design that took some getting used to. I reported maintenance issues as soon as we got in and got a quick verbal response but no real action on exposed nails on stairs and a missing hinge on a door that they knew about since at least July from a previous client. Exterior could use upkeep. Outside furniture is getting the wear from the high UV that happens at that altitude. Outside table is hard to use because of this and the yard is unkempt. Inside of house was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Great house

The house works very well for a large party. The den does not have a door but is fairly private for sleeping. The location is great. We were very wary of the bunk beds which are made of cheap metal that is bending with a leg splayed and broken ladder. Another hazard was a step going to the main portion of the house. The edge strip had fallen off and small sharp flooring nails or staples were exposed. Most pots and pans were teflon that was in bad shape. The yard was quite unkempt. These issues were minor and would be easily repaired. Overall we were very happy with the house and found it to be comfortable and accommodating for a large group. The house had games for kids and adults, plenty of bedding, good lighting, great views. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes bowls and utensils.

Perfectly located

For our four days in Arizona, Flagstaff was remarkably located well. We visited Sedona, Grand Canyon and Winslow. We thought the house was easy to find and very well stocked. My only suggestion would be a list of required items that need to be done at checkout. Loved our stay in Flagstaff.

Relaxing Getaway

Overall very nice property and neighborhood. Good location - minutes from downtown and far enough away to not hear the trains all the time. Layout was great for two couples. Clean and well-stocked kitchen and spice cabinet. Brought the grand-dog and was disappointed backyard is not totally fenced in as listing suggests. She preferred the porch mostly and was easy to make a barricade so she couldn't go down the porch stairs. Friendly neighbors.

Ski day would rent again.

PRO : Two families, 5 teenage boys, 3 cars, plenty of room and seperate spaces. Quiet neighborhood. Clean well appointed. CON : Some odd door swings and tight stairway make for interwsting maneuvering in some places. Heating could be balanced better but it did get plenty warm. Downstairs toilet runs.

The property and location itself: 5 stars! We loved our stay and it was a wonderful location. Great floor plan, cute decorations, nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay again if under different management.Management and cleanliness of the property: 1 star. First, when we arrived at the check in time, cleaning staff was still there and we were told that it was not ready and we had to wait at least 30 more minutes. This is very annoying after driving all day with kids and planning our drive around our check in time. Second, one of the bunk beds was unusable due to the slats all being broken, so we didn’t have enough beds for our group. I messaged the host as soon as we arrived with a picture of the broken bed and never heard back. In addition, the towels and sheets all had black dog hair on them- annd after I washed and dried my face the first night I had dog hair on my lips. So gross. There were huge clumps of human and dog hair and dust under the master bed. Many dishes and silverware in the cupboards were dirty and we had to wash everything before using them. The trash cans outside were full and overflowing so we had to keep all our trash in the house for the duration of our stay. I have pictures of all these complaints to document the status of the home.

Lovely lovely house

We had a little hiccup with the cleaning crew. They were short handed so the house was not clean-ready when we arrived. BUT… the house was not left in a nasty condition so my husband was able to clean it. When the cleaning crew arrived, we just asked for supplies and they made sure we were compensated for not having a “cleaned place.” SO 5 STAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SURE! And the house is just lovely. It’s cozy and the beds are very comfortable. Even the bunk beds. We will stay here again if we ever go back.

Treetop Oasis

Not a horrible place, but I can’t recommend. Backyard is just a weed patch (and not fenced for dogs). BBQ is broken and needs repair. Patio furniture is broken and needs replaced. Patio railing is rickety and unsafe. In general, the interior was not clean. Ants everywhere in the kitchen. No dish rags or hot pads. Pans are old and need to be replaced. Downstairs bathroom door won’t open all the way (hits the toilet). Hot water setting is WAY too hot and would be dangerous for small children. On the positive... it was a fairly quiet neighborhood.

Disgusting and unkempt

This property is in need of some serious upkeep. The yard is a complete disaster. It was littered with trash and the weeds were above knee high. The pictures and text advertise an outdoor space to dine alfresco… this is not true. The out door space and furniture is unusable and dangerous. A bottle of lighter fluid was left outside next to the patio and weeds as if asking for a fire to start. The basement portion of the home smells of urine or dead animal. A bottle of open liquor was left next to the childrens games in the basement. The bunk beds had rusted metal exposed and were not able to be used during our stay due to being uncomfortable and dangerous. The interior stairs were coming apart which were repaired on the second day of our stay but were dangerous during our first entry. Overall we had a terrible experience at this house and I am trying to get our money back… overpriced and false advertising. We had hoped to spend time outside in flagstaff escaping the heat of southern Arizona. What a disappointment. I called and asked for someone to come clean the yard and outdoor spaces and was told this was unlikely to happen. it did not happen during the 6 days of our stay.
