We went up to Flagstaff as a group to take our children to The North Pole Experience and everything was just fantastic.. we had room for everyone, the house was roomy and cozy. The kids had a blast ! Thank you !
It was very nice the house was clean when we got there and there was no issues with check in. Communication was great always responded with quick manner. Thank you
A group for a weekend of golf and the house perfect, clean, and so close to the course. We really enjoyed the pool table. Very relaxing evening after being on the course all day.
The house was spacious and comfortable. Although we did feel that the common areas outside could have been cleaner and safer. we saw a lot of spider webs, a loose gate on the deck that fell off when trying to close it and in general the outside of the house needed to be cleaned up better. we were under the impression that there was a hot tub at the house, at least according to the listing it mentioned a hot tub. other than those things it was a great stay, we would definitely consider staying at the house again if in the area. Thanks!
The hosts were very nice and communicated with us throughout the stay. The house was beautiful and was great for our weekend stay for a wedding.

property backyard needed some cleaning up of the weeds and debris. Also the trees need to be trimmed back from the power lines. It would have been nice to have some AC as well
We enjoyed our stay. The house was roomy and clean. We have a few suggestions to make it even better. Provide more good quality towels including wash cloths. Make sure there are Kleenex type tissues in the house and a hair dryer in each bathroom. Be sure that the windows lock. Kitchen could be better stocked. Check outside light bulbs on right side. All in all, there was plenty of room. We so enjoyed the convenient and lovely neighborhood.
overall quite lovely. the beds were comfortable and the house very roomy and comfortable.however counters, table and credenza in kitchen were really sticky and had not been wiped down. the washer had a moldy smell and the fan that was in the house was caked with dust.Management responded, but there was no reason the kitchen counters should have been that dirty.also would have been good to know no A/C!
This property was well located for our national parks trip and the house was clean. We knew on the front end that it did not have air conditioning. However with the higher temps, it was very uncomfortable even with windows open and all the fans running.
I would recommend and stay here again but not in the summer.

Think twice
The house needed attention. Safety measures need to included on the property. We have stayed in Continental Country Club numerous times and this property didn’t measure to Continental CC status.
The property Mangement Company was great to work with. They did fix some of the problems while we were there.
House is very nice in a nice neighborhood, and only 10-15 minutes from downtown Flagstaff. One of the bedrooms is a converted room away from others thats a little spooky but my daughter loved it. My minor issues are the communication was poor, I didn't get rental agreement until after I left, and the house manual after we got there, but we both bear some blame here as their emails somehow got blocked from my main email account. Fortunately the owner did answer my call to help us get in. Secondarily the pots and pans were dirty and hadn't appeared to have been cleaned in quite a while. But my biggest issue was pricing. When I reserved I only noticed the nightly price so I was shocked when the total bill for two nights was more than double that rate. The major difference was fees, including a large cleaning fee, an arbitrary "house supplies" charge and extra charge to have a 4th person stay in a 4 bedroom house? I'm not sure whether I would have selected this house had I known the real cost was well over double what it was listed at.

Was very, very disappointed in the property, which before renting had an 8/10 review rating. The property is very, very old with dirty carpeting in the living area. I would never recommend this property for older people as the entry way is basically just rock and cement and very uneven. The backyard and deck area also is very uneven and disorderly and untidy in appearance with stepping stones all over the place that stick up out of the ground about 4 inches and are very uneven. The bathrooms were OK, but the toilets must have been made for small children, not someone 6' tall. The windows were dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned in a year with vinyl wood-look blinds that were difficult to draw up without fear of breaking them. The coffee maker was a fairly old Mr Coffee brand with coffee filters too small for the maker and the brew basket was broken and you could not remove the coffee carafe before brewing was finished. The guest bath shower head was broken and dispensed water like it came out of a hose. The Master bath toilet handle broke on the 2nd day. We notified the management about the shower head and toilet and also that the water shut-off valve at the road was leaking water at the valve. They responded the next day by fixing the broken toilet but let us know the owner of the property would not replace the shower head. The property needs servicing from a reputable pest control company as we had several encounters with spiders in the bedrooms.
The home was spacious with various sitting areas. The pool table was an added bonus. There were only 3 of us but the Oakmont Retreat would be a comfortable space for 6. Great location for us as we were exploring areas north of Flagstaff. The place is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to highways, grocery stores and a golf course right down the road.
