and our little guy (almost 2) and they both had the freedom to roam safely. The dock was a close walk and water was nice for a dip in the water. Local restaurant a 2 minute drive with great food. The restaurant also has a tiki bar outside and live music on weekends. The house is also a quick drive to the near town with places to explore....

"We loved staying here for 3 days, going down to the dock a few times a day just to see the sunset or the osprey nesting. The house is perfect for the two of us (and puppy), had everything we could want to be comfortable, rain or shine. Loved the firepit at night also. The location is great for reaching Harriet Tubman sights and Blackwater refuge, but also out of the way and very quiet. We would highly recommend the Sunrise Cottage for a relaxing vacation."

Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!"
