"I believe my review may be a little off due to what we expect in the U.S.. Breath taking views and relaxing stream that runs by the back door of the cabin. Lots of easy walking around the cabin. Not a lot of aminities in the town to choose from but you are only 30 minutes from Voss and 30 minutes from Vorenfossen. The negative, The beds were more comparable to cots, probably more typical in European travel. I wouldn't recommend the cabin for more than 4 adults and 2 kids. Its a struggle to sleep 6 adults in this cabin. There is no staff onsite for the cabin, the restaurant checks you in. There were issues with the cabin that need to be addressed. No control of the thermostats so the cabin was extremely warm, had to unplug the heater main control to be able to sleep. Electrical short in a light switch that was tripping the breaker for downstairs outlets and stove fan and light. Emailed the operators as that's the only way to contact them, they are aware so hopefully they fix the issues before the next guests stay."

"It doesn't look great but does the job. A comfortable clean room with a good view to the fjord. Plenty of parking. Breakfast not so great. Hot dishes, baked beans, tiny sausage and scrambled eggs weren't hot, maybe luke warm. Juice was coloured water. Selection of breads, just two cereals and yoghurt and selection of cheeses and meats but unlike other good hotels very light on the renown cold fish Scandinavian options, in fact one! Dinner was just three options so we sought elsewhere. "

"What a wonderful stay away from all the tour buses in Flåm. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The meals were excellent! Dinner was delicious and the complimentary breakfast was plentiful and made to order. The staff was so personable and inviting. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return!!!"

"The access to Voringsfossen is unmatched. The hotel is literally at the top of the waterfall. We were able to walk around the waterfall after and before the other tourists could get there. You could see down the canyon from our balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the morning breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. No hotel in the area could match the benefits of the Fossli Hotel. "
