Casa Paguro is a restored Republican home with soul a small oasis with a private pool in the oldest area of the Historic Center. Every corner was designed for pure relaxation: natural light, cool patios, and artistic details created by Laura, the owner. With 2 bedrooms, 2 smart TV, WiFi, and an ideal location just one block from the sea, 5 minutes from Parque Bolívar, and 8 minutes from Parque de los Novios, it s an intimate retreat to reconnect and feel the magic of Santa Marta.



Guests will have full and exclusive access to the entire propertyat the 1st floor, including the indoor pool, patios, living room, kitchen, dining area, and rear courtyard. Upon arrival, one of our hosts will personally welcome you, walk you through the house, and explain everything you need for a smooth and relaxing stay. The property is fully private during your stay. For security and privacy reasons, unregistered visitors are not allowed. Laundry service is available upon request through our team.

Casa Paguro is located on historic Calle del Cangrejalito, once part of the old road to Mamatoco. Its name refers to the hermit crab ( paguro ), symbolizing refuge and transformation. Between November and May, the brisa loca (a seasonal coastal wind) brings a refreshing breeze and occasionally some sand into open spaces, but our team ensures the house remains clean and comfortable at all times. The home blends history, art, and nature into a unique environment where light, air, and design create a truly relaxing experience. Its location allows you to fully experience the city while enjoying peace, privacy, and the feeling of being in a hidden oasis.

By booking, you agree to these rules. Our goal is for you to fully enjoy your stay please let us know of any issue before check out. Only registered guests are allowed; no visitors permitted. Smoking indoors is prohibited (terraces only, $250,000 COP fine). No trash throwing. Zero tolerance for noise, parties, over occupancy, or inappropriate behavior; violations may result in fines of up to 3x the booking value and immediate termination without refund. The main guest must be an adult and all occupants must be registered. Cancellations follow the active policy; no refunds for early departures, weather, or travel issues. Utilities depend on third parties. A refundable security deposit may be required. Check in 3:00 PM / check out 11:00 AM (subject to availability). Damages or losses will be charged.

You can easily explore the area on foot during the day. At night, we recommend using taxis for convenience. Transportation is available to the airport, beaches, Minca, and Tayrona National Park.

Arranged on a single level around the pool, the home includes an open living and kitchen area, and two bedrooms: One with direct access to the pool patio Another connected to a private, quiet courtyard Both feature air conditioning, private bathrooms with hot water, and Smart TVs. Casa Paguro is more than a stay it is a sanctuary filled with history, light, and calm in the heart of the Caribbean.

We want your stay to be smooth and relaxing. Our local team will be available throughout your visit to assist you with anything you may need. Optional housekeeping service is available (includes general cleaning and laundry). For longer stays, we recommend at least one service. Cost: 90,000 COP per day. Pool maintenance is carried out regularly, and we will coordinate access with you in advance. Early check in and late check out are subject to availability and may incur an additional cost. We recommend closing doors at sunset and not leaving food outside, as we are in a tropical environment. All communication is handled through the platform for faster and more organized support.
