"The rooftop terrace was delightful! Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of dishes. Their coffee was superb! The location of the hotel and its proximity to its parking structure was great. Additionally, wonderful restaurants were just a few minutes walk away!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Bachareis Charming House in Figueira da Foz. The staff was welcoming, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent every morning. My Claridade apartment was so nice and super comfortable. I’d wished I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately even good things come to an end. Obrigado!"

"Easy walk to restaurants, 2 large rooms w/ 2 bathrooms, views and balcony! Wonderful breakfast with many selections. Incredible pool, need caps though (4E each at front desk). Weight room and welcome water and snacks in the lobby. Friendly staff. Walkable along the beach with many places to eat. Lots of "locals", not all menus are in English. Very nice place to stay. Warning- no kiosk or person at bus station and our phones did not work. Wish we stayed one more night."

"This was a very small boutique hotel located right on one of the old streets in the city. Parking was not available on the very narrow street so we had to park a few blocks away. It is very close to walk to the waterfront and downtown area. We did not receive our check-in information. So when we arrived and rang the bell no one was there even though it was only about 5:00 p.m. . Luckily one of our phones was enabled to make calls, we were able to contact them to get the code for the door and our room number. After that everything went well "

"We have been returning customers in this hotel for a few years now, we have to start saying that the staff are always friendly and helpful, so kudos to them.. What I have found out is that due to the terrible storms they have experienced a lot of water damage, the room where I was staying, the water was inside the walls and around the windows, this was covered behind the curtains, there was also mold building up inside the walls which I could smelled it as soon as I have entered the room; the same day I went to the receptionist and she gladly found a room in a lower floor, no water damage but the toilet wasn’t working properly, and only because the hotel was fully booked due to a bicycle race happening in the city that weekend we couldn’t ask for a better room. The staff was doing their best to pleased everyone, I understand that this is a very difficult times due to the situation but the hotel should have someone check all the rooms and make sure that they are a okay to receive guests. I hope they get it together here soon and become again the clean and fabulous boutique hotel they used to be."
