The house is located in the center of Figueira da Foz, in a quiet area ideal for relaxing. The lightly salted swimming pool ( 6,0 gr/l ), with 12,2m x 6,2m / surface 75m2 /100m3 of water, is guarded from the wind, so gives you extra pleasure and tranquility.
The pool and garden are private, for a single tenant. Not for the owner at the same time.
Barbecues in the garden are very pleasant.
The beach, which is the largest in Portugal, with fine sand and calm sea, is 700m from the house.
Recommended for families, grandparents, parents, with children or for a group of friends.
Figueira da Foz is similar to Biarritz, with its Casino. And there are days when you can go surfing. Next to the sea/beach there are plenty of esplanades, bars, café terraces and also lots of sports and amusements.
The beach/sea/town of Figueira da Foz is well located in central Portugal, 1h 15m from Porto, 1h 45m from Lisbon and 30 min from Coimbra by motorway.
The Figueira da Foz region has beautiful landscapes and 20 centuries of history and culture, 60km from the Roman ruins of Conimbriga, 50km from the ancient university town of Coimbra, 60km from the palace and museum of the battle of Buçaco, 70km to the city of Aveiro (Portuguese Venice), and also very close to the south, the cities of Fátima, Leiria, Nazaré, Peniche, Óbidos, Batalha, Alcobaça and the Salt Museum in Figueira da Foz, close to the delta of the Mondego river, are just a few examples. ....

Great time

The house is clean, with plenty of room and located in a good and quiet neighborhood. The swimming pool is bigger than appears on the photos and has a lot of playing toys and is well maintained. The backyard is private and clean. So is the house, and everything one can need during the day is available. Restaurants and beach is in walking distance. The owner Jorge is very friendly and helpfull and is really considering towards his guests. We really recommend staying at this house, and want to thank Jorge and his wife for a great stay during our holidays.

Lovely location, house was very clean and well presented. Jorge gave us all the information we needed prior to the trip. The house is spacious and was ideal for us as a family of 4 (2 teens). The best bits are a lovely (immaculate )pool, excellent BbQing facilities and nice patio areas. If you are a young family the house and pool are secure, there is a pool room so u can shower kids straight from the day’s activities, pool toys were available during our stay. For adults, it is very spacious, as well as two good dining areas inside there are two areas outside that you can use. The rooms are a double, a twin, a bunk bed twin and a single (possibly with a pull out to make it a twin/double). The size of the kitchen and entertainment areas inside and out would make it easy for two families to share. There is plenty of kitchen equipment (cutlery, plates etc). The dishwasher and washing machine are a bonus, as are the multiple fridges and freezers, very useful if you are self catering. Out and about lots of good supermarkets in the area. A 15 min downhill stroll into town for restaurants. We found Ubers really easy if we needed them to get back. We had a lovely stay.

Pefect spot

This villa is perfectly located. Close to motorway and within walking distance to town and beach. The house's facilities are good and although the decor is old-fashioned, there are many opportunities and rooms to unfold. The swimming pool and garden are a wonderful place to stay and the terrace is lovely for evening coziness. Jorge is an attentive host who wants the best for his guests. We had a wonderful starting point for relaxation and trips around Portugal

An amazing pool and comfortable accommodation!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable appartment. We have four boys who spent most of their time in the swimming pool. The pool was the highlight of our stay and is a generous size, well equipped with inflatable boats and an inflatable goal for water sports. There is also a large garage space which the boys used as a play area, with bikes and a good assortment of sports equipment. it did feel at times that the pool was quite cut off from the house with access to the pool, garden and patio areas only through the front door at the side of the house, but this is only a minor criticism. The pool house accessed by a short ladder had a fridge, stereo and coffee machine and there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The appartment has a very traditional feel and although at times we felt it could do with some modernisation (the main reason we didn't rate it five stars), we appreciated its charm and originality. It was extremely spacious, comfortable, cool, well equipped and wifi was reliable. The owner, Jorge Abreu, lives in the appartment above and was very attentive during our stay. Our check-in process was extremely thorough but accompanied by a generous supply of port and snacks. He gave us great advice on some excellent day trips, restaurants, shops and the best Portuguese wines to try. Jorge checked in with us every day and used the pool sparingly while we were there. He had a very well behaved dog called Joca who our boys enjoyed having around. We were within easy walking distance of supermarkets, the town centre and the beach. Although the sea is a long way from the promenade, there are walkways to ease the journey and loads of space to spread out on the sea-front. If you are looking for modern chic, then this is probably not the place for you, but we would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable place to stay with a fantastic pool.

Wir wurden von Jorge sehr freundlich mit Portwein und Oliven empfangen. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was wir benötigten. Vor allem der Pool ( größer als erwartet ) und der Garten waren ein echtes Highlight. Wir haben die Zeit und die Gastfreundschaft in Figuera da Foz sehr genossen!

Grand logement, bien équipé à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. La piscine est le top et Jorge met à disposition des bouées. Il prête également des vélos. Rustige, heerlijke omgeving geschikt voor gezinnen

We hebben heerlijk genoten van het het mooie grote en diepe zwembad. Voor kleine kinderen ideaal omdat je het kan afsluiten met een tuinhek en de oceaan aan het strand te ruw is. Omgeving is prachtig en alles is binnen loopafstand. Aardige, gastvrije en zorgzame huurder die secuur omgaat met de administratie. Omdat hij boven de huurwoning woont is er wel minder privacy mocht je daarop gesteld zijn.

Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cette location . La piscine est immense beaucoup d accessoires mis à notre disposition pour profiter de la piscine ainsi que des vélos baby foot et bien d autres choses!! J’ai l’habitude de louer des maisons de vacances depuis plus de 10 ans mais celle là je n’y retournerai pour rien au monde ! Accueil convivial au départ mais le propriétaire a vite changé de comportement l’impression d’être surveillée toute la journée avec ses différentes caméras, le propriétaire passait derrière nous pour vérifier si tout était rangé ! On était pas libre et peur de faire mal à chaque fois !! Et en ce qui concerne la maison extérieur sympa mais intérieur affreux très vieillot, literie horrible ( matelas de mauvaise qualités posés sur des planches de bois ) salle de bain année 60 odeur anti mite ou renfermée très désagréable caché par multiples produits désodorisant posés par le propriétaire ! Dommage un coup de neuf à l’intérieur la renderrait vraiment agréable Bref je n’y retournerai pour rien au monde

Vacanze rilassanti

Abbiamo (genitori più 6 figli) passato un soggiorno magnifico da Jorge persona molto gentile ed attenzionata. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo perfino trovato tutto il necessario per la cena, senza parlare dell'aperitivo offerto al nostro arrivo. Il cane Ioca, quando è presente in giardino, è molto tranquillo e piace ai bambini proprio per questo. Abbiamo approfittato più della stupenda piscina che del mare!!! Raccomandiamo la casa di Jorge a tutte le famiglie, troverete a disposizione 7 biciclette e molti giochi per la piscina fra cui dei canotti. Se dovessimo tornare a Figueira da Foz, è qui che ci fermeremmo.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Il vous donne beaucoup d'informations sur les lieux que vous voulez visiter. Il est aux petits soins pour ses locataires. L'accueil du 1er jour fut très sympathique après avoir effectué un long voyage. Il sait vous mettre à l'aise.
