We enjoyed this cute little house. The kids enjoyed the yard. Perfect size for our family. The hosts tried to think of everything it really showed. We enjoyed the pie that was waiting for us. Thank you very much.

The cutest farm house with animals
Alan and Louise were fantastic hosts. I emailed Alan right after booking this rental property, asking about possibly getting an earlier check-in time than 3 pm. I explained that we were coming from 6 hours away to play in the Cherry Capital Showdown Softball tournament in Traverse City, and we had to be at the fields by 4pm to be ready to play by 5:30 pm. He agreed and gave us a 1pm check-in time.
On our way up to the house I received a phone call from Alan, making sure we were still coming. He also asked if we were going to make it in time to play our game, told me he was a baseball fan. He made sure to give me all the house information and his cell phone number just in case we had any issues.
We we arrived we saw a big beautiful red barn and next to it there was an area with a bunch of animals, like goats, ducks, and chickens. When we walked inside there was a little note that said “sorry for the mess in the yard, we had a tree fall that needed removed. -Louise”, and the note was leaning on a perfectly cooked, AMAZING homemade cherry pie. We will definitely be going back, you cannot beat the cost for an entire house rental that has hunting on site, animals, fast internet, cute and cozy.
