We still enjoyed the quiet time and found ourselves watching movies without interruptions 😂. The home was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hosts sent several messages before our stay and were quick to answer questions. We will definitely stay here again and hope for better weather."

"Easy to find and check in. Had everything we needed to have a cozy Spring weekend. Just the right amount of space. No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. "My husband and I stayed here for four days. Property was exceptionally clean and communication with host was easy. I have been unfortunately under the weather so I really enjoyed laying on the couch with the cozy fireplace on watching Netflix. We did take advantage of the 70 degree weather and took our dog to Higgins lake and walked around the area."

"Older cabins, small but comfortable with everything we needed. All was in working condition. It had air conditioning which we actually needed for the few days of 90+. The owner was fantastic to deal with, all camp rules clearly defined and nothing crazy. We have already made plans to come back. Highly recommend."

"The location is remote with breathtaking view. It was well equipped with everything for an away from home stay; except heat! The furnace was out and pellet fire place didn't work. The property manager Georgia and her husband Jay were Johnny on the spot trying to fix anything we needed done and brought out electric heaters. They were great and very friendly and helpful; including replacing the toaster that didn't work. Great place if you need to find yourself and let the distractions of this...

"The location is okay but we were mostly coming to get into the water and go canoeing which we were told there were canoes and kayaks on site and a place to drop in. That is correct however they did not mention the extremely steep incline hill of mud and roots to get into and out of the water and the length of the incline which is absolutely not doable so basically the ploy to get us on site and booked dropped many stars for our family. If I were to just rate the house that was a 4."

"Maple Ridge Cabins we will be back! The house was perfect for our large ATV group. Easy access to the trail system, the house was clean, the hosts were very informative and helpful giving us information for festivals, restaurants and things to do. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"We stayed in cabin 1 and it was perfect! The owners were so nice. Only a half hour from Traverse City. The cabin was cute and rustic. It had a fully equipped kitchen and charcoal grills outside. Perfect views of the lake and each cabin had their own firepit. We will be going back!"
