Helpful and attentive staff, good price, and a relatively quiet and clean place to sleep in the Médina.

Very good host, poor building maintenance.
Mundire was a great host. He was very helpful and helped us a lot. The building, however, is not well maintained. The bathroom was horrible. After shower the whole bathroom would have water all over place and it wouldn’t drain.
First of all the hotel is in OLD tOWN which the hotels.com rep should have mentioned.
Gateau area. You have to cross 20 minute walk from the Medina with ur luggage as no access inside. Once at hotel they recommend you do not leave premises after 6:00 pm
The area where u have to walk thru is super dangerous & smells& has open gutters.
The riad has steep steps tp climb up and if u have a room like ours 4 th floor u r dead carrying up and down.
Beds were dirty. Worst to come bathroom gor flooded in 3 mins and no way to let fo the water puddle.
Just that the owner is a nice guy and he tried to help but it is a one man show and i do not recommend it for any one at all.
Unfortunately we had an extremely unpleasant experience at this riad for two nights. List of problems:
1) We were told that they were unaware of our booking on arrival and after showing our confirmation and waiting around were reassured that it was a mistake and that they were aware of our booking.
2) A large Italian group arrived at midnight on our first night and were served food in the communal area of the riad at that time. The group was extremely loud and inconsiderate and woke us up for a good two hours in the middle of the night. The rooms are all surrounded by the communal areas and any noise can be heard and despite us giving two warnings the noise continued at a high level. The hotel was aware of this large group and should have either not booked other guests or not allowed them to sit in the communal area at such a ridiculous time.
3) We were told we could only pay for the outstanding amount of the payment with cash despite the booking emails not mentioning this at all. This caused us great trouble late at night on our second night there.
Munzer, the young man who looks after the hotel and guests on a daily basis did really try his best to help and ease these problems for us but these were all issues that the management should have thought of and dealt with beforehand.
We had an excellent stay at Riad Taha. Mundir the host was very professional. He greeted us when the taxi driver dropped us off and walked with us to the Riad. This Riad was very easy to find after been shown where it is. Any questions we had Mundir was able to help us with. I highly recommend this Riad for those staying in Fes.
the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the position of the hote in the heart of the medina, near place r'cif i ideal. Our room was very inexpensive, comfortable, and quiet, with efficient air con.

Nice niche riad in the middle of Fes
Our family stayed in the riad for 3 nights and great hospitality from Alladin picking us up at the square R’cif and Mohammed care taking the riad
Very old structure so rooms were a bit small & my family of 4 felt cramped. Staff was awesome-Itmane was VERY helpful & kind! Hard to locate but we were met by Itmane & escorted to the riad.
we spent 2 nights at riad taha. mohammed was a very helpful and friendly host. he picked us up at the taxi stand near the gate (bab rcif). the next day, he offered us a 2-hour walk around the medina, souk, tanneries, and supplemented us with history of Fes, and we also talked about their education and medical service. how nice!
This is a nice Riad in the middle of the Medina. The room was clean and spacious. The views on the terrace are amazing. You feel like you are Disneys Aladdin. Which brings me to our host. Aladin was super nice and helpful and was the reason why our stay here was very special. If you like Marrocan breakfast, it’s pretty good and always fresh. The location and the value for the price are hard to beat.
