This was a cool stopover to break up a long train ride; we were pleasantly pleased. The hotel was nice and not far from Old Town which was an easy walk once we found the tunnel that allows access under the road located in front of the hotel. That made it much easier.

Location is usually a priority in choosing a hotel: Close to transportation, attractions, restaurants and shops. Glacia Neuva isn’t located close to anything. Two hours from Bratislava or from Kosice, this hotel is a destination. (if you have more money than time, the hotel has a helipad.) The blue edifice with a commanding views in all directions, retains the majesty of its origins as a 600 year old castle, Elegant and rich in history, this hotel is more than worth the journey.

Wonderful experience at this new hotel / restaurant in Malacky, just north of Bratislava. Owned & operated by a local family that did an excellent job renovating the property while preserving and promoting the history of the area. The restaurant / bar is exceptional and the best in the area in my opinion. The hotel has only 10 rooms and 1 apartment. Very clean, modern and well appointed rooms. Modern heating and cooling systems in each and well appointed bathrooms. Ask the owners for a tour of their vintage motorcycles and global license plate collection. This is THE place to stay (and dine) in the area.

Room was very nice and clean; staff were nice and friendly; Breakfasts were great; and the location is great, close to tourist attractions such as city centers, old town centers, the Castle Bratislava Castle, museums etc

The breakfast is excellent with plenty of cooked options as well as low calorie food. Staff very friendly, a credit to Bratislava and Slovakia.
