"I didn’t realize that there would be no one at the reception desk of the hotel until 3 pm, so there is no where to leave luggage before check in time. The train station does not have luggage lockers. The apartment building has 4 floors without an elevator, you don’t know your room number until you get your key, we ended up on the 4 floor with 64 stairs! The method for getting your key was pretty slick, you don’t need to go to reception."

"Hotel couldn’t call us a taxi to pick us from train station and taxi number didn’t work at train station. So walked w bags to hotel. Room was large but street level. Last day the brunette working desk noticed that the taxi didn’t pick us up to leave hotel so she got her own car and drove us to dock. Amazing! She went way out of her way. She made our stay great"

"Wunderbarer Aufenthalt an der Mosel – absolut empfehlenswert!Ich hatte eine fantastische Zeit in dieser Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft: absolut ruhig, mitten in der wunderschönen Altstadt mit ihren charmanten Gassen. Die Mosel ist in nur drei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und auch Gastronomie liegt direkt um die Ecke.Die Wohnung selbst war tadellos sauber und ordentlich. Besonders das Bett war extrem gemütlich und überhaupt nicht durchgelegen – ich habe hervorragend geschlafen! In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, das Bad war sauber und das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und die Menschen vor Ort sehr freundlich. Der Gastgeber war unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Der Schlüssel wurde mir persönlich übergeben, und ich bekam direkt eine kleine Führung durch die Wohnung sowie viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!"

"Very friendly staff and very helpful, they genuinely want you to have a nice time. The location is beautiful as well as the breakfast was delicious. The room was really spacious, even the corridor leading to the room. Bike rental was easy and inexpensive, beautiful area to go cycling with many cycle routes."

"Beautiful location, very clean room. Great view of the Moselle river and the surrounding spectacular landscape. Great dining and breakfast. Unfortunately we did not dine at the nicely set up white-linen Restaurant except breakfast. We were unaware (or did not read the fine prints) that we should have called ahead if we are arriving after 6 PM on the first night of check-in. We arrived late due to late start from Frankfurt. But the owners were kind enough to check us in. The only major draw back for us was the cigarette smoke which constantly made its way into the room and the hallway. Even though the owners assured us every room was a non-smoking room and a no-smoking sticker was on each room, a strong cigarette smoke from elsewhere in the building made it into our room and the hallway. I am very sensitive to the smoke and had a hard time with it. This rooms are great for smokers, but not really so good for people who dislike cigarette smoke and are with respiratory problems. The owners need to look into the smoke problem and remove the source of it. Other than that, it is a great place to stay."
