I had a wonderful solo stay at this historic hotel! I was upgraded to a room with a giant bathtub and a terrace—both were very nice to have at the end of a busy day. The fans in the room (3 of them!) kept things cool on hot nights. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to everything you could need and a quick bus ride to the museums. Luxury shopping close by, too. Might not be that accessible for people with limited mobility.

Absolutely loved this hotel, it felt like a hidden gem on the outskirts of Berlin.
Food was great, it felt like we got a steal of a deal not expansive for what we paid.
Our only complaint was the a/c wasn't as cool in the room, wished we complained earlier before we went to bed
