Oriented on a 1.75 acre wooded lot, this home offers a private setting with several outdoor spaces and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Located just 7 miles from the shops, restaurants, & art galleries of Saugatuck and Douglas, this 4200 sq. ft. home has all the amenities you could desire for a comfortable and adventurous vacation.

Lake Access:
Lake Michigan public access for shore walking is just a short walk away (stairs)(0.3 mile walk). It is part of our area homeowner’s association. It is just an access point. The beach areas are privately owned but are available to you for shore-walking. Another access point is Pier Cove (2.2 miles) which is lake accessible for shore-walking. West Side County Park (3.0 miles) has a great picnic and grilling area.
The BEST beach experience is Oval Beach in Saugatuck (7 miles). Celebrated for its beautiful sweep of shoreline and backdrop of rolling dunes, this is the main beach in town. Its impressive pedigree of awards (Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 25 Beaches in the World, National Geographic Traveler’s Top Freshwater Beaches in the USA, and MTV’s Top 5 Beaches in the USA) is testament to its status as a summertime favorite and natural beauty spot. There are concessions, a picnic area, and adjacent parking and NO STAIRS! Something for everyone.
Another access point for shore walking is Douglas Beach Park at 3099 Lakeshore Dr, Douglas. There are also picnic tables and grills.
If you are up for a hike, there is Saugatuck Dune State park. There are several trails and they all end at the beach. It is mostly used for picnics, walking, etc.

Exterior
A long private drive accesses the peaceful wooded setting with the sounds of Lake Michigan shores close by. A spacious rear deck offers serenity, wooded views, outdoor cooking and dining. Relax in the screened porch or around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy the secluded privacy.

Interior
There are three levels to the house giving plenty of privacy to each bedroom.
Main floor features:
- Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, spacious living room, large separate dining room, and fully equipped open kitchen. Perfect for entertaining - from an informal bbq to more sophisticated dinner parties. Living room opens up through two sets of double patio doors to the large rear deck, screened in porch, gas grill, and back yard.
- A large master suite with king size bed, tv, Jacuzzi and large double shower. There is also a separate door to the back yard patio.

Lower level area includes two additional spacious bedrooms, additional twin bed, very comfortable queen sleeper sofa, large bath, desk area, and enormous family room with several seating areas for watching TV, playing games, expanded dining space, and just hanging out after an adventurous day.

Perfect layout to enjoy each other’s company, yet have plenty of privacy.

Steps to Lake Michigan private association lake access -- only a 0.3 mile (5 minute) walk. Accessible for shore walking.
