Inside you will feel right at home with new appliances for those meal making times, new comfortable mattresses in each bedroom, and bathrooms that are sure to impress. If enjoying the cool nights of summer is your thing then we have a screen in back porch and a backyard with a fire pit area for those late-night snacks or story telling times.

Great place to stay. Real nice and clean. It had everything you needed and was a great location. Very comfortable place for a long weekend. Great area with plenty of great restaurants and bars in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Extremely clean and so close to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck! The property is so cute and the listing is accurate- such a cute Christmas getaway for me and my boyfriend. Showers and bathrooms were extremely clean and stocked with all kinds of amenities. The kitchen was nice and the coffee bar was a great touch! Will be recommending this to our friends!

The house was great, beautifully remodeled! A welcoming bottle of wine and cookies were appreciated. It was decorated for Christmas including a tree so our Christmas celebration with my daughter and son in law from Nashville made it perfect. We really enjoyed the wood stove and supply of wood.

The house was amazing, it had everything you could need on hand and more. The location was amazing and allowed us to explore the beautiful area from Holland to South Haven. Fennville also has some pleasant surprises such as Salt of the Earth and Cranes Orchard.

We had an amazing time at this property!! It was quiet and serene, but only minutes to shops and dining in Douglas and Saugatuck. Perfect Weekend Getaway

My partner and I drove up from Chicago to spend some time relaxing and exploring a new town. This home was a perfect place to sip tea, do puzzles and watch the beautiful snow fall. The house was well stocked with anything we might need for our short stay including basic spices, small kitchen appliances, soap and even makeup wipes! We were also very close to town and had a wonderful time shopping and sipping coffee from Uncommon Roasters. We absolutely loved our time here and cannot wait to return!

Amazing house in a great location!

We absolutely loved our stay here - so much so that we added on another night! The host was super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. The house is just beautiful and very nicely updated. It has a large yard and big outdoor spaces. The location was close to town and convenient to other activities in the area like beaches, wineries, and u-pick farms. We hope to come back soon! There were also beach chairs and an umbrella as well as outdoor yard games we enjoyed. A pack n play for our toddler was an added bonus, too!

I brought my adult daughter for a weekend away for her birthday. We had a lovely time. Lots of riveting conversation in the hot tub. There were plenty of fabulous restaurants to choose from. The water was very close by. Lots of hiking trails. The house was just gorgeous. It is very clean and tidy. Everything seemed new. The host attended to every detail. We cooked large breakfasts and every utensil we could need was there. Robes, towels, dental floss, laundry detergent, coffee bar, and a lovely bottle of local wine. We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Birthday Getaway (Saugatuck)

Delightful stay at this wonderful country-side property. I travel a fair amount, and lodging can make-or-break the experience (particularly when traveling for pleasure). There's always nervousness surrounding the unexpected nature of what you might get upon check-in. This property/home left no disappointment... a simply fabulous property, wonderfully designed, appointed and cleanly kept. Only wish we had more time, here, to relax and entertain ourselves. Love SW Michigan, and this property has us already planning (and looking enthusiastically forward to) a future visit.

We've stayed at several rental properties in the Saugatuck/Douglas/Fennville area over the last 25 years and this one is a gem! Lovely home on beautiful property - the sandhill crane family visited us every morning peacefully walking in the backyard. My husband and I plus two of our college-aged children snuck away for a few days at the beach before everyone heads back to school, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to spend it. So many wonderful features to this home - some of our favorites are the screened back porch, lovely patio with dining table and hot tub, bright/airy bedrooms with comfy beds. And so well-appointed...it had everything we needed and the whole house is just a fabulous use of space. Thank you for sharing your beautiful new home with us - we'll be back!
