Lovely home on Hutchins Lake

This house is placed in a little bit of heaven....warm lake below and surrounded by orchard. So much room and very well equipped...very close to Saugatuck and Douglas but most of our time was spent together by the water. I would highly recommend this house for a large group of family or friends. Lots of little spots to get away by yourself if you need to be quiet.

Large family vacation

We were a group of 12 adults and one child under 2. The house was perfect and the views amazing. We used the canoe on the lake which was nice. The toy trucks for the little one were a big hit. He played with them all week! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if cooking is not your thing. It’s a short drive to the Lake MI beaches to enjoy the sand and waves. The donuts and pies at Cranes were enjoyed by all!

We loved this house and property! It was spacious for our big group and the kids enjoyed having the basement as a play area. The outside area was beautiful and we able to enjoy a nice bonfire one night! The location was also convenient and close to restaurants and the cute shops of Saugatuck. We loved the check-in, so easy! The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our adult children thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. We took advantage of the fire pit and grilling out. The host was amazing. I rented the house for my wife's 40th birthday party. The house provided able stay for all the guests that came out of town and had a great dynamitic to keep the kids engaged and interacting together outside. Such a beautiful property! Well appointed. Relaxing, yet fun! Fennville is a cute town plus only a ten minute drive to Douglas/Saugatuck. Enjoyed the nearby wineries. Maria was extremely accommodating with our requests which made all the difference for our weekend bachelorette festivities. Only comment for improvement would be a new mattress for upstairs pull-out couch since it’s factored in for sleeping arrangements. Would MOST definitely stay here again!
