Overnight at Kawakawa cottage
A lovely stay at Kawakawa cottage. Super easy to find and communication from Lorraine was great; gave us an earlier check in. Quiet, peaceful with a nice outlook, would recommend.

Suggestion
Lack of cooking facility makes it very difficult. Stove would be good to have as bbq facility is open to weather conditions. Furniture in lounge is pretty uncomfortable. Loved the privacy and the cleanliness

A nice, easy stay with all the basics covered. Only issues were an old milk bottle in the fridge and dead ants in the bathroom. I booked very late notice which might be why. Thanks for a great stay.

Great locaton and friendly helpful hosts.
Ideal for our group attending Manfeild Circuit. Had everything we needed. To be fair, the cottage and furniture is a little dated and could benefit from some TLC. However, the beds were comfy and there is a good air conditioning unit and shower etc.

Cottage stay - plenty of room and good kitchen gear
Nice cottage at the rear of the owners house. Their grounds are superbly kept but the cottage deck area and beside was full of weeds, old frames etc and not pleasant to sit outside. A bit of physical work and maybe a nice new deck would be a bonus as inside was very good. Quite a bit of road noise even set back behind the owners home. Maybe retro double glaze bedroom and lounge windows facing south??

Great communication with Lorraine throughout. Location was close to the track. Beds were comfy. Shower could do with more pressure and the door to bathroom queaked (annoying at night when used).

We had a great relaxing 10 night stay at Kawakawa. The property is exactly as described and photographed in the listing. It has a lovely rural outlook, good access and parking and the cottage is well set out with plenty of space. Great value and friendly owner.

We booked last minute and were surprised to find such a reasonably priced property which fit our needs, but loved every minute of our stay! The house was spacious and convenient to both Fielding and Palmerston North! We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Lovely spot to relax
Lovely separate flat/area from the main house. Nice rural outlook. Good easy drive into town and Palmerston North. Only reason for a 4 star was the shower. With the shower head it took ages to wash long hair. But overall a really good place to stay.

Great Property!
This is a very comfortable 3 bedroom cottage (although we only used one bedroom). A tiny kitchen area but it has everything you need for a few days. Quiet location and very private. Fully recommend this property.

Perfect location, very close to Manfield made this location ideal. Plenty of parking for up to 4 vehicles. Good basic, no frills stay which suited us perfectly.

Lovely country hospitality!
Family group of parents & 5 adults kids & partners enjoyed this stay. Hosts were very welcoming & helpful. Beds were comfortable & linen clean & fresh. For extra person cost, Lorraine provided a comfy extra bed for our 7th person. Bedrooms have lots of space for suit cases. Basic kitchen for light meals...we really only did breakfast there. Plenty of glasses, bowls & plates. A nice cottage farm feel with lovely garden. We even got a bag of freshly picked plums before we left! Thanks so much!

Very homely - Perfect for our needs
We felt at home, beds were very comfortable and it had a lovely outlook with a few sheep in the paddock. Very clean, the basic kitchen facilities suited our needs. Easy to get into Feilding and Palmerston North. Great hosts. We will stay here again.
