"Put my and my family of 5 in the wrong room, which they easily changed to a 2x2 as i had rented. Sunday afternoon the "maintence" man let himself in as we are in the room letting our dog outside. He didnt speak much english. Not sure what he was doing but he looked in our electric oven and than left. We didnt feel real safe so when we left we made sure to tske any valubles out and rigged the room to see of people had come in again. "

"Communication with the host was wonderful and timely. Checking in and out was quite easy, which was nice because after driving for 10 hours you just want to get in and relax! "I arrived on a rainy night, not knowing there were several steps up to the front door as there was only a picture of the back door on the VRBO page. I tripped up and hurt my knee carrying my bags up the stairs. The host was not only unsympathetic but blamed me for not “reading the description” and asked if I wanted to see her bruises from falls!! "It was a great stay. Carlisle is only a little enjoyable drive to Cambridge and we don't have to pay the outrageous hotel rates in the city during the graduation week. The room was super clean and nicely equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and we had great sleep. Carlisle and the surrounding towns are all super quiet and nice, we wish we had more time to explore the places near by. The owner was very kind and great to communicate with. "The grounds are well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building itself is tired. The kitchenette had no utensils and only paper cups. Also the hot plate didn’t have a place to plug in. The fridge and microwave worked though and that’s all we needed. Just a heads up in case you need more. They had a variety of breakfast options that are included. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, muffins etc. For the price, we were happy. "
