About this property

Remodeled train caboose, close to town and Long Point trailhead

  • Located just outside of Fayetteville along Gatewood Road, the New York Central caboose is a completely renovated steel caboose. The train car has been thoughtfully converted to a tiny house and is located right next to Cantrell Rafting. The caboose has one bedroom with a full size bed, a loft area accessed by a ladder with a twin mattress and a futon in the living room. This cute rental is located next across the street from the Top of The Hill cabin, next door to the C&O Caboose at Cantrell Station, and next door to Cantrell Ultimate Rafting.

    If you have a larger group and are interested in booking both cabooses contact us for a discounted rate.

    The caboose is minutes from some of the areas best trails, Long Point, Endless Wall, Kaymore, Beauty Mountain, and the Arrowhead bike trails to name a few.
