"The property itself was charming, the room and bathroom very comfortable. The staff were helpful, kind and corteous. The weak point of the stay was the badly kept access road to the property which is full of potholes, dumped rubbish and broken furniture. As it is the only access to the property it sets a bad impression before you arrive and every time you use it."

"The property and room was basic but adequate, with access to a private terrace on the roof, though the area around it was not so picturesque, surrounded by blocks of flats. The staff were very helpful and the lady in charge even drove us to the bus station herself when we asked for a taxi. The breakfast also was very good, variety and served attentively."

"Villa Carlotta is surrounded by well-kept lovely gardens, with a good sized swimming pool to swim and relax by. There was plenty of parking space too, inside a locked entrance for added security. The room was good, but the bathroom was showing signs of a little age and could do with a freshen-up, however it was clean and ideal for our one night stay. In the morning the breakfast was nicely prepared by the attentive owner, outside under a light awning which was very peasant indeed. It was just...

"We had a lovely stay at Dimora dei Templi. Our room was very comfortable and we loved sitting on the rooftop terrace overlooking Agrigento. We enjoyed the bottle of red wine that was in our room on the terrace (extra $). Breakfast the next morning was also served on the rooftop terrace. It was lovely with fresh juices, yogurt, coffee, frittata & pastries. All made locally and served by Vincenzo. We enjoyed getting to know Vincenzo. He was a wonderful host. We even got to meet the owner...

"Staff is excellent. Good atmosphere. But it is not a hotel. It is a b&b. And the access is complicated. You have to use two elevators and two flights of stairs to get to your room."

"Villa Diana is a wonderful place to stay in the countryside. The hosts, Dario and Diana are fantastic and helpful with everything. The provided breakfast is amazing - everything cooked fresh! The view of the valley is fabulous, quiet and relaxing. The room we had was large and comfortable. The shower was a little small, like many European showers are, but the bathroom was large and well appointed. Definitely recommend Villa Diana for an authentic, relaxing Sicilian stay."

"There are no problems with the bedroom, the property owner, or the management. (Do call or text with your exact arrival hour, though.) The biggest issue you may have with this place is reaching it with your suitcase wheels intact, because you are going into the old part of Agrigento and depending on your approach angle, you may be dealing with seemingly-endless bumpy walkways, staircases, and roads which allow one car at a time. "This is away from the busy center city in a move rural setting but with a view of the city. Very modern rooms with great Italian breakfast. Very friendly owners. Property is beautiful but you will need a car to get to it and worth the drive!"

"Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und modern. Leider hatte unser Zimmer im Schlafzimmer kein richtiges Fenster - nur eines, was in einen dunklen Innenschacht geht. Das liegt daran, dass die Unterkunft in einer kleinen Gasse sehr nahe der Altstadt liegt. Für eine Nacht war es für uns jedoch kein Problem. Die Unterkunft war überwiegend sauber (ein paar fremde Haare im Bad) und die Minibar netterweise gefüllt, ebenso Kaffee-, Tee- und Kekse vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war...
