"Kerry and Rhonda’s place was exactly what we were looking for for our annual girls trip. The place was even nicer than the pictures.Kitchen was will equipped, the large island was perfect for working, eating and late night card games. If you are planning on working, bring a hotspot. Wi-Fi is good for standard phone and tv, but not strong enough for Skype or Teams calls (but we were prepared for this). Beds were comfortable. The resort’s pool and restaurant wasn’t open, but when it is, it’s a short walk from the house.We spent our time out on the lake, which we could walk out to from the back of the house. Bring water shoes!Also, we did a beach day at the Father Hennepin State Park (10ish min drive).Overall, I great place for a fun summer weekend trip. Thanks again Kerry and Rhonda!"

"The unit is as pictured. It is a townhome and the unit I had backed on to a wildlife pasture/wetland. I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the many birds and at night watching the firefly show. Front desk staff was friendly and the one small issue I had was resolved by the time I returned to the unit. It does have a gas grill for those wanting to cook. One bed downstairs with a bath and a large loft area with a bedroom and batch. Great place. Drawbacks...The unit I was in could use some appliance and bathroom updates. Either way, I will be checking into this unit on my next business trip!"

"The home is spacious--with enough bedrooms to sleep 21 of us. We had a couple of rainy days, but the shuffle puck & foosball table , along with many big screen tvs kept everyone entertained. It is a beautiful home & the grounds are landscaped. We had a nest of owls to watch. No sandy beach, but the kids did swim & play in water off the dock. For a big group, the kitchen could use some things..had only one 9X13 pan, blenders didn't have working tops, & needs a regular manual can opener. But this home is awesome."

"Quick overnight stay over New Years... used to rest our head after the evening's festivities. Guest Services staff were great-- contacted me ahead with check in information and provided a number should we need anything during our stay; also worked with us on a late check out which was appreciated! Space was quiet, clean, and prepped for us without issue. Had hopes for more comfortable pillows...a minor thing in the grand scheme of things. It wouldn't deter us from booking another stay at Appledoorn's. Only other MINOR issue was the TV-- volume was hard to maneuver to a quiet viewing level. Even at level 3 is was loud, and level 2 shut the volume off without muting. TV clarity and access to channels were both great. Again, not enough to deter us, but if you're with a partner that is a light sleeper and you want to watch TV, one of you is going to have difficulties. :) Overall a great stay--positive experience, friendly professional staff, and a clean, welcoming environment. I'm guessing it's a hopping place in the summer months. Would not hesitate to book again."
