We were there for a short stay, but after a long day of driving, it was a great stay. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the continental breakfast is just what we needed for our drive back home.

Was very private for me & my fiancé. Will definitely come again. I love how private everything was, even the check in was very private. Love!!!
We were in for only a few hours, but this place was so empty, and creepy. We loved it. We did see one other car when we arrived, and two when we left in the morning. I wish the restaurant and tavern were open when we stayed. You can feel the gistory in the area and building. I wish we would have had more time to dig in to local history.

We enjoyed the historic aspect of this hotel. The room was uncomfortably warm with no adjustable thermostat. Plumbing needs updating.

Ambience is good
This place is hard to find. No address on the listing AND no phone number. Turns out it's in an old, old hotel with a dining room. It's largely self check-in through the hotel's front door which also leads to the dining room. The room has charm but lacks amenities like bedside lamps and the one light switch turned on the fan. To get the overhead light on required standing on the bed (if you're agile enough; the bed is 3 feet high). The bathroom soap dispenser was broken and lacking soap.
