"This is an older hotel that has been operating for more than 50 years, and that shows in some areas. The rooms feel somewhat dated. The food was not very good, and the menu options were limited. On the positive side, the staff was helpful, the beds were comfortable and clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location is convenient, with easy walking access to other restaurants and bars along the boardwalk. Those restaurants are not that great either, but they are better than the hotel. The beach water is clear, although beach chairs and umbrellas must be rented from locals. Public transportation is readily available, with vans stopping right outside the hotel that can take you to Kingstown or in the opposite direction for $2.50 EC. This made it easy to reach supermarkets in either direction to buy water, snacks, or other essentials. We stayed in two rooms. It took four days to receive a safe in one of them, so we had to share the available safe during that time. There was also a ceiling leak in room 14, and the water pressure in room 16 was very low."

"Myah's luxury suites hotel was a great stay. The rooms and surroundings were always clean. Friendly, curteous and helpful staff at every turn! Onsite dining options (must try the rum punch from Wayne!) We will definitely be back!"

"The villa is delightful, set in peaceful surroundings amidst lots of greenery. We loved relaxing on the porch, enjoying the breeze in the mornings and the sounds of crickets and birds in the evening. Being inside was equally wonderful--the rooms are spacious and attractive, the A/C is very efficient, the living area offers comfortable seating and a large TV (plus thoughtful additions like a few games and a deck of cards), and the kitchen is well-stocked (we appreciated finding cooking oil, a HUGE array of spices, coffee, tea, aluminum foil, and more). Beds were comfortable with soft sheets and good pillows; showers worked great, and my husband liked the fluffy towels so much that we're going to buy some of the same brand when we get home! On top of everything, Kimani was a super attentive and responsive host. Well before our arrival, he provided helpful info about what to do on St. Vincent, and throughout our stay and beyond, he checked in to make sure all was well. His father also lives nearby and showed us around when we first arrived. You really do want a car if you stay here, though. Driving on the island IS intimidating, and you'll need to hire a guide for excursions like the volcano hike (strenuous but worth it!). However, a rental car is convenient for getting to beaches, restaurants, and the supermarket."

"The arrival at the resort was already an experience with singing and drinks. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. ALL the staff was super friendly and helpful in all places. The restaurants were nice but very inconsistent. One day everything was great, the next day the buffet food was cold. The food in Butch’s was excellent but we didn’t like the atmosphere- felt like an airport lounge and very loud. For the hype we expected it to be more intimate. The food in Gatsu Gatsu was good but needs more explanation because the portions are very small and tgey should tell you to order multiple for a platter and a full meal. We definitely like Scrimshaw - great food, nice atmosphere and wonderful staff. A few minus : the small beach gets very crowded when cruise ships are in because it’s a public beach and then people stand in front if you and put towels and chairs in front if the Sandals loungers. We had a photo shoot for our anniversary and I was waiting 30 min ( and a second call) for an urgent missing hair dryer ( told them we had photo appointment) and then the free photoshoot was quite disappointing- at first he forgot his memory card and then he rushed through some different locations- not much Direction on doing some posing, no correction of hair, dress etc and at the end you are buying 10 pictures for 180 US$ , barely edited ( had to correct on my own) and half of them against the light and overexposed- not professional at all. "
