Clean property back off the beach
"Owner was nice & let us check-in early when we showed up from our previous pension. The bungalow was clean & festively decorated with fresh hibiscus flowers when we arrived.
I mistakenly thought I had booked Kori Kori Lodge so I was a bit disappointed to have a view of the back of a garage & a derelict boat instead of being beachfront but such is travel sometimes. Hence the reasonable price. House is located 130 steps from the beach and the snack hut. You can see a small sliver of ocean from the house. Free wifi when you are very close to the snack hut.
Pros: Pretty palm trees surround the house -watch out for falling coconuts. View great sunsets from snack hut dock. The wind was a life saver to keep the place cool enough for sleeping and windows have screens. There is also an oscillating fan.
Large bathroom with a large, tiled shower & good water pressure.
Queen bed was comfortable enough, but very tall.
Having an outdoor clothesline was super handy & our stuff dried quickly. BYO clothes pins.
We dove every day. O2 picked us up each morning in their truck.
There is a reef out front with lots of sea life. Water was milky but there is still plenty to see snorkeling.
Free kayaks - yay!
Bring your own drinking water.
Owner was helpful. My French is terrible - Google translate helped.
Snack Hut was open 11am-2pm. Good food & drinks, great view.
Place could benefit from 1 more bedside table.
The only chairs are on the front porch.
Streetlights stay on all night."

"This simple guesthouse is very remote and basic, but I would definitely stay here again. Our fare (traditional bungalow) was modest, but comfortable and charming and set on the water's edge. Meals consisted mostly of fish, rice, chicken and pasta. The staff was wonderful and the diving spectacular."
