"When I arrived at the room I noticed a prevalent mildew and possible sewage smell. We left and came back to the room and it seemed to get worse. We notified the front desk, and they readily agreed that the smell of the room was quite strong. They immediately offered to move us to another room of the facility. We looked at the other room and while it did not smell like the first room, the air conditioning was not on and we feared that turning on the air conditioning might create the same problem. Accordingly we decided to move to another hotel rather than stay."

"We had an good experience. The smoke detector and tv needed batteries we let them know. Channel selection was odd to find ones that worked. If channel selection is a thing you look for.Maybe a paper with channel name an number would help. They came right away to fix battery issues. Beds were comfortable and clean and few stains but I think most places have that nowadays. Nothing big or nasty. Everything else was clean. Just a heads up there is no microwave here. I've never been to a place that didn't have that or a coffee maker. They do have a mini refrigerator. Very close to shops and restaurants. Can walk across the street and get amazing homemade foods and gifts. Free parking. Feels like a safe area. I did not see any bugs besides 1 waterbug due to pouring rain. Overall would recommend to singles couples and families."

"We loved our stay! John and Sarah were excellent hosts, responding promptly and even checking in on us after a summer storm. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. We spent mornings and evenings sitting on the front porch watching the horses and buggies go by and we all loved that so much! Thank you for sharing your farm with us!"

"I called to confirm our stay the day before our reservation. The woman who I spoke with said check in was at 4:00, but the rooms were usually ready early. I had reserved 4 rooms because I was traveling with several of my adult children. This hotel has a two story annex within walking distance of the main hotel, and that’s where our rooms were I attempted to check in early and two of the four rooms were ready. We all used the two rooms to relax a bit and at 4:00 I walked back to the main hotel to get the other two rooms. They were not ready. The man checking us in contacted cleaning staff and they said it would be another 15 minutes. I waited the 15 minutes and got one more room. We had planned to leave for dinner at 4:30 and time was running out, so I decided to leave and get the last room later. I was expecting at least an apology but none was given. We went to dinner and a show and came back after 9:30. When I finally got the last room, which was for my two sons, they said the room smelled of cigarette smoke and the television didn’t work. They didn’t tell me till the morning so I couldn’t do anything about it. The rooms were ok except for rust spots in the bathrooms. The steps leading up to the second floor were dirty, the railings felt like they hadn’t been cleaned in a year or more. There were places where people had spit on the landings. There were puddles of water in front of the doors by morning which got tracked into the rooms. Not recommended."
