5/5 - Excellent
A lovely little town. The pies at Fairlie Bakery absolutely delicious. Don’t leave town without trying! They certainly lived up to their reputation

Lovely small motel, comfortable drive from Lake Tekapo. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable

Would love it if the reception was open early or available without having to call (gets charged for tourist) apart from that it’s good

Very clean, huge bed, kitchen well equipped with plenty of fruit, breakfast serial, milk, salt/pepper etc. Unfortunately practically all shops closed after 4/5 PM (bakery reopens at 6am)

The house was great! Spacious and, well appointed. We felt comfortable and appreciated Teresa’s contact. She made sure we had what we needed to get into the house despite our late arrival.

Perfect stop over for our trip - we wandered around town, and loved the history notes on the windows of stores. Friendly town.
Great friendly little town.
This is the first time we have stayed in Fairlie. We usually do day rides on our motorcycle. We always enjoy our stop in Fairlie.
Carnegies and Fairlie Bakehouse were culinary highlights of the trip. Great food and service.
Nice quiet town. Friendly people. Good shops. Best pies ever at the Bakehouse bakery. Close to Tekapo springs and much nicer to stay than commercialised Tekapo, which at the time was undergoing lakefront construction work.
